As a Quantity Surveyor, your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing, managing and reporting on project budgets and cost plans
• Conducting cost analysis, performing risk management & value management exercises
• Providing advice on contract conditions, procurement strategies & commercial risk management
• Negotiating and agreeing on contracts & variations with subcontractors and suppliers
• Ensuring timely and accurate preparation of final accounts
• Monitoring & controlling costs throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring financial success
• Liaising with clients & managing relationships to ensure satisfaction & repeat business

We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor who has the following skills and experiences:

• Ideally 5 yrs experience as a QS or a minimum of 2 yrs experience with 1 company
• Preferably a background in office-to-residential conversions or similar projects
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement processes & financial management
• Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and use own initiative
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail


In return, the successful a Quantity Surveyor will receive a salary between £55,000 - £60,000 and excellent company benefits including:
