•  Prepare overall project schedule and work trade management

The Role of A Quantity Surveyor:

As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for working with the Regeneration team to deliver profitable projects within agreed timescales.

This role will report to the Managing Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Director and will carry out the following:

* Working within a team to successfully deliver projects ranging from £1-£10 million within a variety of sectors

* Responsibility for all commercial aspects of a project including: o Valuation of works, manage subcontract accounts and payments

o CVRs o Preparation and negotiation of final accounts, cost reporting, value engineering o Assisting the procurement department in producing robust subcontract orders

o Preparation of quantities for the Preconstruction department

• The incumbent facilitates major initiatives by providing subject matter expertise on asset valuation and program tools for the management of the National Capital Region’s real estate portfolio. Takes the lead role to ensure the development and execution of targeted program strategies. • Supervises staff assigned to the Division in the performance of work geared toward supporting and validating client agency project management requirements.
