Your new role

Reporting to the Head of Legal Counsel, you will work within a collaborative team overseeing the property objectives of the business. You will assist in advising on land acquisitions, service charging, leases and general legal advice to internal and external stakeholders. These will include external legal businesses, house builders (in house and contractors), valuers & local authority departments. You will ensure compliance practices and work within regulatory and legislative frameworks.

What you'll need to succeed

Candidates applying will need to have relevant legal qualifications and have experience of land/commercial property. Social housing experience is desired but is not essential. Our client will look at applicants from both in-house and private practice backgrounds.

What you'll get in return

Pension scheme, performance related bonus and a hybrid policy. Candidates to be in the office 2 days a week. Travelling to Tewkesbury once a week is required.

What Will Your Day Look Like?

As the Construction Secretary you will be the backbone of our Construction Department. You'll provide vital secretarial support to the Construction Director and handle key administrative tasks that keep our projects running smoothly. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the centre of a dynamic team, where your organisational skills and proactive approach will make a real impact every day. You’ll be:

Providing the Construction Director with full secretarial support, including typing correspondence, taking and distributing minutes, filing, diary and email management, and making appointments and travel arrangements as necessary.
Managing all construction administration including typing, filing, record keeping of uniforms and respective claims.
Ensuring all site offices are supplied with stationery, PPE and other resources requested.
Updating and maintaining records as appropriate.
Co-ordinating site signage orders with the Graphics Department
Producing accurate and timely reports and distributing as appropriate.

What You'll Need To Succeed:

Experience of working in a secretarial role.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Computer literate, especially in Microsoft Office Products such as Excel and Word.
Experience working within a Construction/ house building environment would be advantageous.

Property Manager

Location: Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire

Salary: £22k - £28k + Excellent Benefits

Job Type: Full - Time

The Client:

Our client is a well-established lettings and property management agency, committed to delivering exceptional service in the property sector.

The Role:

As a Property Manager, you will provide the responsive, professional service expected by landlords and tenants, addressing their unique property requirements.

Responsibilities:

- Ensure timely completion of all maintenance jobs with professionalism.

- Maintain up-to-date compliance records.

- Register tenant deposits and serve notices when required.

- Conduct property inspections using industry-leading reporting software.

- Handle maintenance faults, repairs, and tenant / landlord requests.

- Liaise with tenants, landlords, and contractors.

- Manage check-ins and check-outs of tenants.

- Negotiate tenancy renewals and carry out annual rent reviews.

- Produce monthly landlords reports.

- Manage company procedures, updating and improving where required.

- Oversee the property portfolio keys.

- Conduct viewings on available properties when required.

- Manage occasional out-of-hours emergency maintenance.

Requirements:

- Previously worked as a Property Manager or in a similar role.

- Ideally have 1 year of experience in residential property and customer service.

- Completion of secondary-level education.

- Possess customer service and administration experience.

- Proficient in the English language.

- Strong written and spoken communication.

- Valid UK driving license and car.

Shifts:

- Monday: 8:45 am - 5:45 pm

- Tuesday - Friday: 9:00 am - 5:45 pm

- Alternate Saturdays: 10:00 am - 2:30 pm
