Job Description
· Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner;
· Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements;
· Track project costs in order to meet budget;
· Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan;
· Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress;
· Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables;
· Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution;
· Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement;
· Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications;
· Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field;
· Regularly liaise with consultants, sub-contractors and technology providers.
Job Requirements
· Degree in Mechanical or Process Engineering is preferred;
· Proven competence in business and administration matters will be added advantage;
· Minimum 5 years of project management experience with record executing projects in the electronic/semiconductor environments;
· Knowledge in maintenance practices and procedures;
· Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices;
· Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle;
· Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline;
· Knowledge in safety and quality standards in the SEA region, particularly in Singapore and Malaysia;
· Experience in handling large-scale, turnkey projects;
· To fulfill job assignments as needed;
· A resourceful individual with good organization and time management skills;
· A team player and at the same time able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
· Ability to communicate proficiently in English (English proficiency is a valuable asset that can significantly enhance a project manager’s effectiveness. It enables clear communication, access to global resources, and the ability to work with diverse teams and clients.) and Chinese (liaise with vendor from Chinese. Knowledge of Mandarin dialects is essential.)
· Requiring flexible travel schedules, including short-notice and extended periods.
