Our client is an established contractor working on non-infrastructure water schemes for high-profile clients. This organisation has a strong pipeline of work in the water sector and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. Due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Quantity Surveyor to join their highly successful team. This is a full-time office-based position in the Birmingham area with site travel as and when required.
Your new role
As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Producing and providing accurate forecasts of project costs to completion/final value
- Managing subcontractor accounts
- Monitoring cash flow and valuation plans
- Managing subcontractor tender processes
- Providing accurate reports of costs and values on the projects.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will have:
- Experience at an Assistant Quantity Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor level
- Good working knowledge of NEC3 and/or NEC4 form of contracts
- Sound interpersonal and organisational skills
- Experience working on civil, mechanical and/or electrical works in the water sector (ideal).
