Job Title: Valuation Surveyor (Senior or Associate)
Location: Liverpool city centre
Salary: £45,000-£60,000 basic salary + excellent benefits

A leading real estate consultancy with a presence in 20 countries, employing over 5000 people worldwide. The North West valuation team area based out of Liverpool cover all aspects of general practice valuation, predominantly in the commercial sector. Work undertaken is for a broad range of clients including; loan security businesses, international banking clients, government agencies, local and combined authorities. The atmosphere is relaxed with the team splitting their time between the office and being home-based. This is a new appointment for the business due to securing a long-term contract with a prestigious government agency and company will be working on-site with the client on a weekly basis as part of a team that will support informed decision-making and strategic planning for the client. The role will include involvement in some of the North West region's most interesting and high-profile property instructions.

Main duties as a Valuation Surveyor include:

• Property Valuations: Carry our accurate and reasoned valuations of company assets, including land and buildings. Ensure compliance with relevant RICS guidance to ensure best practice.
• Monitoring market trends and regulatory changes impacting property values to best inform valuations.
• Collaborate with the client and the wider property and asset management team to optimise the performance of the property portfolio.
• Offer advice on asset enhancement and divestment opportunities.
• Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders within the business and externally. Contribute to strategic discussions related to property asset management.
• Adhere to company's quality assurance and industry standards.

Job Purpose
We have an exciting opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join our growing major hydrogen infrastructure team. As a key member of the project team you will support the commercial and contractual management of a portfolio of hydrogen pipeline projects. The role offers exciting development opportunities as our projects progress through the project lifecycle, from feasibility through to construction and commissioning.

What you’ll get to work on
Pre-Contract Support
Support the preparation of tenders and analysis of tender submissions.
Support the preparation of cost estimates and the approval/ governance process.
Support with the preparation of customer cost estimates and negotiation of head contracts (as applicable).

Post Contract Management and Administration
Prepare accurate project cost reports, including Consultant/Contractor and Owners costs.
Attend design meetings/construction sites regularly to review and monitor Consultant/Contractor progress in order to verify their costs, compensation events and identify early warnings.
Review Consultant/ Contractor applications for payment, with robust justification for any disallowed costs.
Develop and present robust cost forecasts to internal key stakeholders, with support from the Commercial Manager or Senior Quantity Surveyor.
Ensure contingency is managed through the cost review and risk reduction meetings held with the Contractors/Consultants and the Project Delivery team.
Analyse and benchmark commercial data on projects to provide informed guidance and analysis on commercial performance.
Draft applications for payment and customer cost reports (as applicable).
Ensure commercial and financial processes and procedures are adhered to.

Who are we looking for
Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar.
Preferably MRICS qualified or working towards MRICS.
Experience of working with NEC Contracts.
Ability to manage multiple activities and projects.
Proven ability of delivering a quality stakeholder experience to internal and external stakeholders, always acting responsibly and communicating clearly.

We are looking for an Estate Technician to join our Estate Services team, based in Liverpool. This role will involve working in a team of 2 carrying out grounds maintenance tasks, the removal of fly tipping and general cleaning tasks including clearing of properties, replacing fencing, paving, landscaping and general caretaking duties across various sites in the North West. A van and tools will be provided to assist in this role. Development opportunities are available within the team for you to develop your skills and career.

The role of Estate Technician will include:

- Grass cutting, litter picking and gutter cleaning
- Completing daily work records and maintaining stock levels
- Ensuring tools and equipment are kept in a useable condition
- Providing accurate information and updates on the progress of allocated work


Skills and experiences:

- Some practical experience in operating hand tools and light machinery an advantage
- Working knowledge of health and safety regulations
