The National Security Sector at Leidos is seeking a Non-Intrusive Inspection System (NIIS) Field Service Technician,  in support of the IBD-SS
program’s CENTCOM and Horn of Africa areas of operations. The Field Service Technician will perform maintenance,
training, and work closely with military customers. This position desires an individual who has experience performing
mechanical and electronics, on both the radiation and Backscatter technology systems as well as skills performing
installs, de-installs, testing systems and components, and performing Preventive Maintenance actions on a variety of
systems belonging to the Non-Intrusive Inspection Systems. The successful candidate may be assigned supervisor duties
to manage the day-to-day operations of their area or operations and or other technicians. OCONUS travel will be required
to other OCONUS locations.

Primary Responsibilities

Candidate is familiar performing within a fixed price, performance-based environment where performance is based on pre-determined Service Level Agreement’s (SLA’s) or Acceptable Quality Levels (AQL’s). Performs detailed and technically in-depth site survey functions at user locations as required in order to assess/analyze site preparedness, develop build of materials and develop implementation plans. The Position involves extensive application configuration and candidates should possess an administrator-level understanding of n-tier enterprise applications (db, app server, client) architecture/management as well as the capacity to follow detailed installation procedures.
 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Participate in software and hardware investigations resulting from issues identified in reported trouble calls during the transition period.

Provide Technical Assistance reports for support provided to DCGS-N Help Desk Customers.

Support program management integration, systems engineering, and testing to resolve system CASREP issues. This may include CONUS and OCONUS travel to both shore and ship sites to support urgent operational requirements.

Provide installation support to the DCGS-N ISEA for the DCGS-N.
