SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Performing customer support activities involving the installation, modification, and repair of complex equipment and systems
• Conducting on-site installation and testing of equipment to ensure proper working order. 
• Isolating equipment start-up malfunctions and taking corrective action. 
• Performing ad-hoc and predetermined work assignments with instructions. 
• Following all established guidelines, procedures and policies.
• Working on assignments which are semi-routine in nature where ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required
• Managing resources, maintaining schedules, and coordinating all repair activities in priority sequence to ensure adherence to contractual service level agreements (SLAs); and
• Working in a customer environment with systems operated in a 24/7 environment which require immediate response times (either while on-shift or after hours on-call) and driving long distances to sites. 
• Accepting and updating work order in CRM systems such as Salesforce, Maximo, and GURU for our customers.

Basic Qualifications:

• Related Trade experience (electrical, electronic, mechanical)/Military Training (electrical, mechanical, electronics).  (Equivalence achieved through comparative work and life experience of 2 years of electrical or mechanical field service role).  Computer literacy; competency in use of all programs within MS Office Suite and aptitude for learning specialized software programs.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience directly involved in troubleshooting and field repair of electrical and electronic systems and equipment.
• Individuals shall possess excellent communications skills and have a strong orientation for customer focus and teamwork.  Must be responsive to all customer issues at all times.  Must be willing & able to travel at short notice.
• Must be able to pass an in-depth background check (TSA eQIP).

The Litigation Support Team at Leidos currently supporting the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) in Los Angeles, CA has an opening for a Senior Paralegal to work in a downtown Los Angeles, CA DOJ office performing Senior Paralegal duties. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the U.S. Department of Justice achieve their mission. 

Responsibilities include:

- Performs specialized legal research and writing in support of work in assigned area of criminal or civil prosecution, including research and analysis of statutes, legislative intent, judicial precedents, agency rules and regulations, and law review articles as they related to assigned cases to include those of an especially complex or unprecedented nature.

- Utilizes a variety of automated resources to research case or program specific legal matters, and to participate in assigned areas of criminal or civil proceedings, e.g., electronic discovery.

- Assists in the development of case referrals.

- Performs a variety of tasks associated with litigation of cases in assigned specialty area including:

• Receiving and analyzing incoming pleadings and correspondence

• Determining appropriate action and notes time limitations for responses

• Drafting correspondence and legal documents for attorney’s signature

• Drafting proposed orders and decrees for signature of judges and magistrates

- Assists in pretrial prep by:

• preparing, scheduling, reviewing, and organizing discovery;

• notifying, interviewing, and managing witnesses;

• researching case law;

• supporting assigned attorney(s) in court proceedings by briefing attorney on pertinent facts, issues, and case law, and by compiling, organizing, and indexing exhibits.

Required Qualifications: 

- Paralegal certificate, or JD, or currently attending an ABA-accredited law school, having completed at least one year of study (or equivalent)

- 2+ years of litigation paralegal experience or project experience, including at least one year of experience in automated litigation support. 

- Knowledge of federal and state court system, legal research procedures, and legal research resources. 

- Knowledge of legal research tools such as LEXIS and Westlaw. 

- Familiarity with ESI tools and knowledge of eDiscovery procedures and resources. 

- Familiarity with a variety of computer applications, including word processing, databases (such as document review and file management systems), spreadsheets, imaging, and hardware systems.   

- Must be knowledgeable user of the Government's office and network environment, including but not limited to, word processing, database, spreadsheet, imaging, and telecommunications systems. 

- Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

The Litigation Support Team at Leidos currently supporting the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) in Los Angeles, CA has an opening for a Document Management Analyst  II – Legal Assistant (Litigation Support) to work in a downtown Los Angeles, CA DOJ office providing litigation support as part of our criminal prosecution team. Responsibilities include:

•Complete various aspects of recurring legal documents.

•Use general reference sources and legal research tools to gather information to assist attorneys and staff in performing legal research duties.

• Search internal plus external files for material used in a variety of recurring reports.

• Assemble file data or secures data from staff members into the proper format based on the purpose and nature of the report.

• Accurately input data for the case and matter statistical management system.

• Independently review resource documents and files to determine appropriate codes for the case management system and work hour input and reports.

The Legal Assistant l will work under the direction of a Supervisory Legal Assistant and is assigned between one to five Assistant United States Attorneys (AUSA). The types of litigation support required under this contract generally include:

• Examining, preparing and processing a variety of technical legal documents, e.g., complaints, motions, orders, answers, pleadings, and subpoenas.

• Providing assistance to attorneys in trial preparations.

• Assembling trial exhibits, affidavits, discovery in various formats, and other legal documents.

The Leidos Military & Veterans Health Solutions Group is sourcing candidates (both counselors and supervisors) for our PACAF Adolescent Support and Counseling Services (ASACS) program.  This program implements a community-based adolescent support and counseling program for the adolescent dependents of U.S. Service members at U.S Military installations in the Pacific Rim.  The essential clinical services include assessment, early intervention, and counseling services for adolescents and their families for AOD and other behavioral health risk factors.  The essential prevention and education aspect of the role includes classroom education for adolescents, in-service training to community agencies, community education, screening for and facilitation of prevention support groups for youth from high-risk environments and participation in community awareness campaigns.  Length of initial assignment is 3 years, followed by options to renew annually for the duration of the contract.

Primary Responsibilities

Counselor Duties Include:

• Developing and implementing a community-based adolescent substance abuse prevention and treatment program

• Interfacing and networking with military branches and the community to identify adolescents in need of services

• Supporting family quality of life by offering individual, group and family counseling

• Intake, screening, assessment, and management of case load

• Provide AOD training and specialized education on a variety of topics

• Treatment planning, discharge, records management, and continuing care planning for caseload

• Participation in quality assurance

• Case record management and documentation

• Securing and maintaining written referral agreements with all community agencies and briefing referral agencies about the ASACS program

Qualifications (Counselor):

• Master’s degree from an accredited university (Council of Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP) accredited)

• Valid State Clinical License – LCSW at the independent level OR Ph.D/Psy.D. Clinical Psychologist

• Two (2+) years of supervised post graduate counseling experience working with an adolescent population. Two (2+) years of experience in treatment of adolescent substance abuse

• The possession of or eligibility for a state or national alcohol and drug counseling (AOD) certification

• Candidates must be creative and skilled in prevention education, community referral agreements, and program marketing

• Possess intermediate competency with word processing, using simple databases/email systems and managing files electronically

• Must hold a current US driver’s license and be eligible to obtain a US military ID card, credentialling at military hospital and approval by client

• Acquire favorable results on Federal Background Investigation

• Knowledge of risk management and program development experience is a plus.

Qualifications (Clinical Supervisor):

• Three additional years direct adolescent AOD prevention and treatment experience

• Two years of clinical experience as an ASACS counselor
