We’re looking for a Service Reliability Engineer who will think outside of the box to propose, analyze, and implement new ways to deliver, operate, monitor, and maintain the platform while focusing on process efficiency, security, best practices, service reliability, scalability, and performance.
In this role, you will
- Play a key role in accelerating the organization's ability to deliver changes reliably and consistently to Amadeus Hospitality customers
- Develop standardized automation to control, build artifact and deploy managed services
- Leverage, improve, design, and implement services that automate application provisioning and manage the underlying infrastructure as a service
- Act as a technical lead, anticipate technical risks and interdependencies, identify potential improvement of existing code / processes, and solve complex production investigations
- Form a common continuous deployment pipeline for application development teams
- Identify root cause, troubleshoot, and resolve issues quickly and effectively, sometimes under pressure
About the ideal candidate
- At least 3 years as a Reliability Engineer or Software Engineering with experience in application build and release engineering in Service Oriented Architectures
- Proficient in deployment and infrastructure configuration management tools (e.g., Terraform, Puppet, Ansible)
- Excellent knowledge in Linux operating system administration (RHEL) and Linux Containers deployment technologies (Docker)
- Good knowledge of C, C++, or Java, and Shell, GO or Python
- Exposure to cloud systems and related ecosystem (ACS, OpenStack, AWS API, Azure, etc...). Experience on Azure DevOps is a plus.
- Very good knowledge in relational DB (Oracle, MySQL) and noSQL technology (CouchBase)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, team player, and collaborative.
- Professional proficiency in English.
