Job Description:
In this position you will provide support for the development and implementation of strategic and operational Respiratory Care plans and initiatives for Essentia Health as well as providing day to day operational guidance for the area.
Key responsibilities:
Plan and develop systems and processes to improve the operating quality, safety and efficiency of the department.
Responsible for hiring, training/competency, supervising and coaching employees in accordance with organizational policies and procedures. Responsible for managing resources to ensure that the needs of the customers are met.
This is a working Supervisor position
Education Qualifications:
Qualifications:
Graduate from an accredited respiratory care/therapy program.
Work Experience:
Minimum of 3 years in the field of respiratory care
Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist or registry eligible or a Certified Respirator Therapy Technician as defined by the National Board of Respiratory Care.
NBRC RRT credentialing must be completed within 12 months of hire.
Respiratory Therapist licensure through the appropriate state(s) Boards of Medical Practice.
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certified within one month
