• Manages base-wide service contracts.
• Supervises approximately 8 QAEs to ensure they perform and document inspections, coordinate with affected parties, prepares changes to contracts or purchase orders, maintains files, and investigate and resolve customer complaints.
• Coordinates service contracts and purchase orders with functions across the base. Applies knowledge of other disciplines to determine coordination required to ensure all requirements have been addressed.
• Plans and directs accomplishment of new and recurring requirements for prompt submission and award.
• Functions as a QAE during peak workloads Prepares inspection schedules for random sampling, periodic, and 100% inspection and inspects contractor performance based on schedule.

• Ensures Family Child Care Program policies and procedures are in place and followed; recruits new providers to support the mission of the program.
• Performs a variety of duties in support of the Family Child Care Program to include background checks, management of resources, establishment and maintenance of a resource-lending program, accomplishment of required reports, creation and maintenance of necessary documentation and files, and carrying out of public relations tasks.
• Provides training to Family Child Care providers on business practices, supervision and accountability, child abuse, identifying, prevention, and reporting fire, safety, and health regulations, child nutrition etc.
• Performs a wide variety of administrative duties related to Family Child Care, Expanded Child Care, Missile Care, Home Community Care, Deployment Care, Subsidy, Extended Duty Care, 24/7 Child Care, Air Force Aid Society Child Care for PCS/Volunteers, Respite Care, etc.

Sets up glasses, silverware, dishes, trays, napkins, condiments and cold menu items (e.g., salad, dessert, bread and cold beverages) on a serving line. Removes dishes and trays from tables. Operates, breaks down and cleans all electrical equipment for food preparation. Cleans kitchen equipment (e.g., worktables, sinks and refrigerators). Separates food waste and trash from dishes, glasses and silverware in dishwashing area. Loads and operates dishwashers, stores clean dishes, glasses and silverware. Washes tables and counters, vacuums and shampoos carpets. Sweeps and mops kitchen floors, cleans windows, washes walls and cleans and sanitizes trashcans. Sorts, washes, peels and cuts fresh fruits and vegetables.

The purpose of this position is to perform a variety of manual tasks in food preparation and food service areas.

Sets up cafeteria lines, steam tables, dining room tables, and side service stands with hot and cold food items including meats, vegetables, salads, desserts, bread, butter and beverages. Serves food cafeteria style. Breaks down and cleans area when meals are complete. Sets up dining room tables for service, places food and beverages on tables, and replenishes items as necessary. Sets up and operates dishwashers, performs preventive maintenance and cleaning. Scrapes, soaks, scours and scrubs bowls, pots and pans. Also performs heavy duty cleaning tasks such as ceilings, exhaust hoods, under and behind kitchen equipment, washes floors and walls, walk-in refrigerators and freezers, sanitizes garbage cans. May unload food from delivery trucks. Collects and transfers trash from work area to disposal area.

Assembles and tosses fresh fruit or green salads in quantity using prepared dressings, serves into standard serving sizes. Makes cold sandwiches using prepared ingredients. Makes coffee, tea and other beverages.

Proper cash handling skills/preparation to be always practiced when working at the coffee shop, food truck, and central kitchen locations.

SUMARY: The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a first level supervisor, providing planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control over nonsupervisory employees assigned to the School Age Care program. To plan, develop, organize, and oversee the long-range and day-to-day operation of a comprehensive school-age child care program consisting of such activities as before and after school care, full day care/camp, and school holiday care/camp for youth 5-12 years of age.

DUTIES:

• Develops, coordinates, and implements activities, programs, and special events, consistent with program objectives and in accordance with health, safety, and security standards for the School Age Care program.
• Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the School Age Care program ensuring that the program complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs.
• Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
• Monitors training of staff and volunteers according to established policies and procedures.
• Represents the School Age Care program with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
