About the role
Corebridge Financial is seeking an innovative and resourceful thinking Business Analyst, who takes ownership of work. The ideal candidate will thrive in an environment where new ideas are encouraged where information may be limited.
The Business Analyst will work with multiple stakeholders; make sound decisions using data, analysis, experience, and judgment. The Business Analyst will be a self-starter and a resource driving powerful outcomes for our client.
We want to hear from you today if you can:
Create Business and functional Specifications for Sales and Inforce Illustrations
Perform the required tasks & processes for the Life Insurance Interest Rate Update Portfolio
Assist business users with questions,
Help identify and troubleshoot problems using multiple software applications
Track issues and work with Illustrations Team managers such as Project Manager, Actuarial, QA and Developers on change requests and functional specs
Communicate frequently with internal team members by providing regular updates to various members of the team
Submit, Communicate and track product User interface and Print requirements to and for management
Review, write and maintain illustration text which is compliant with state regulations
Create standard operating procedures for the Illustrations and Actuarial support teams.
Manage the Illustration’s team deployments by monitoring deployments of our applications and providing updates and sign-off to various teams
Support the Quick Ticket Platforms such as providing support for onboarding new Agencies, Providing requirements for App updates and improving digital processes
Jira Admin for the illustration’s Team Projects- Create Projects and assign tasks for the various teams in illustrations
Provide BA backup support for the Automatic Underwriting Solutions (AUS) project team & the Illustration Regulatory team.
What we are looking for:
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or 3+ years of experience in a research & data analyst role in a business support environment.
Strong research and analytical skills.
Knowledge of project management methodologies and complex Life Insurance products
Broad understanding of the legal and regulatory environments surrounding insurance Illustrations and regulations
Knowledge of insurance systems, especially systems such as ALIP, CFO, LifeComm, ULA or Vantage AIG systems
Ability to leverage programs like Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint to review data, create analysis and share findings in writing to both internal and external parties.
Familiar with using JIRA defect system
Requires a demonstrated record of initiative, adaptability, real-time problem solving and decision making.
Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent communication and business writing skills is a must
Ability to work with limited supervision and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
An individual who is innovative and forward thinking and proactively identifies and champions improvement projects
