Service Engineer / Plumber (Water Treatment)

An exciting opportnity has arisen for Service Engineer / Plumber with3 years of experience as a field service supervisor in pumping or cooling systems in construction to join a prominent consultancy, specialising in rainwater harvesting and water management services.

In this role, you will play a pivotal role in conducting site surveys and installing systems with utmost precision. Ths is a mobilerolewith occasional office days in UB6.

Training will be provided during 3 month training and evaluation periodfor the product line, including rainwater harvesting and greywater recycling systems.

You will be responsible for:

- Overseeing and ensuring the proper functioning of various components

- Performing planned and reactive maintenance.

- Identifying and troubleshooting faults.

- Managing after-sales services.

- Conducting product tests and repairs.

- Engaging in occasional office work.

What we are looking for:

- Previously worked as a Service Engineer or in a similar role.

- Minimum 3 years of experience as a field service supervisor in pumping or cooling systems in construction.

- Level 3 plumbing qualification, ideally with a Gold Plumber's CSCS Card.

- Skilled in MS Office, 2D/3D drawing interpretation.

- Valid driving licence (25 years or older).

Job Purpose:
This role will support the subject teams in preparing resources for their teaching groups, all aspects of arranging trips and visits and administration for Heads of Subject.This is not an exhaustive list of duties that are required throughout the year, seasonal and specific tasks will be allocated and agreed on a weekly basis.
Main Duties include but are not limited to:
Responsible for the administration and bookings of all trips and visits including transport arrangements where necessary.
Responsible for the management of all photocopiers and machine services located throughout the school, ensuring that they are in full working order, serviced regularly and fully stocked.
Liaising with the reprographics company to report issues or faults and ensure sufficient levels of toner are available.
Managing engineers when they are on site.
Providing bulk photocopying and specialist printing for staff as required.
Providing support in the preparation of teaching materials for lessons including photocopying, creating booklets, posters, flash cards, displays etc as requested.
Administering the system for staff requests to ensure communication is clear and staff resources materials are produced on time.
Ordering stock and stock management, tracking and recording.
Administering the budget and costs centres associated with the role.
Assisting with classroom and corridor displays.
Maintaining a well resourced and tidy central resources room so that teachers can use the space for creating their own resources.
Planning waste reduction and recycling actions relating to photocopying.
Attending all directed training and following school policies.
Assisting in any administration tasks as directed by the Headteacher.
Undertaking student supervision duties as directed by the Headteacher.
Cover for support staff when necessary.
To undertake any other duties to ensure an efficient and calm running of the school as directed by the Headteacher.Person Specification:
