The Role

To post-holder will competently administer all service & compliance contracts on Bield’s Asset Management System. The Compliance Assistant duties include scheduling appointment visits and issuing tenant correspondence, monitoring progress against planned service programmes, recording/updating all service visit data, asset management, processing invoices as required, liaising closely with all members of Bield staff to ensure continuity of service.


The Candidate

This opportunity seeks a candidate with significant relevant experience in an administrative role within housing or similar service based sector. You will need excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to liaise with contractors, customers, local staff, local authority departments and members of the public.

The successful candidate will have good IT skills in word processing, spread sheets and asset management systems and ideally have experience in working with a computerised repair/asset management system. You will have the ability to provide highly effective administrative & organisational skills to effectively prioritise, plan and coordinate a workload across a variety of buildings in different locations as well as a genuine interest in and an open flexible approach to the promotion of excellent standards of care for older people.

We are looking for a Domestic Assistant in Rutherglen Care Home to assist in making sure that the Home where Residents live is a clean and safe environment. It is such an important role and one where you can make a real difference to enhancing the life’s of others.

Your Duties...


Being able to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness in all areas of the Home, respecting Residents and their care
Using a variety of cleaning products, ensuring COSHH regulations are applied (don’t worry you will receive training in this)
Being comfortable communicating with Residents, their families and also working alongside Colleagues – good interpersonal skills are essential given it is all about the people
Have an awareness of Health and Safety


Experience

We do not ask for experience of working in a similar role, previous experience is an advantage but it is not essential as we are looking for the right person to join our team. As the role involves working with vulnerable people your employment will be subject to appropriate pre-employment checks, which includes references as well as a PVG/Protecting Vulnerable Groups check.
