To post-holder will competently administer all service & compliance contracts on Bield’s Asset Management System. This opportunity seeks a candidate with significant relevant experience in an administrative role within housing or similar service based sector. The successful candidate will have good IT skills in word processing, spread sheets and asset management systems and ideally have experience in working with a computerised repair/asset management system. Job Summary

Salary will be pro-rated for part-time and term-time hours. This position is temporary.

You will provide support to children and young people with additional support needs within Killermont Primary school.

You will be responsible for the personal care needs of pupils and under the direction of the class/subject teacher, you will help pupils with specific learning activities and to follow instructions and organise their work. When required you will provide supervision for pupils outwith the classroom for eg in the playground, corridors, dining area, during PE and organised school trips.

You will have a pleasant tolerant manner and a proven capacity to establish positive relationships with children and young people. Experience of working with children and young people with additional support needs and an interest in their development is essential.

A relevant qualification in childcare is desirable.

PVG / Disclosure Scotland

The following criteria applies to all roles within East Dunbartonshire Council where PVG/Disclosure checks are essential criteria

Where the post you are applying for is considered Regulated Work under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act, 2007, successful candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check, prior to confirmation of employment being made by East Dunbartonshire Council.

Please note, successful candidates will be expected to meet the cost of the relevant check which will be deducted from the successful candidate’s first salary payment.

In specific circumstances the payment could be deducted in instalments from an employee’s wages following commencement of employment. Approval in such circumstances will be made by HR Services Lead.

Should an employee leave in advance of the payment being deducted, the full amount will be deducted from the employee’s final salary.

Brook Street are delighted to be supporting a key client to recruit a Helpdesk Customer Service Assistant to join their fantastic Estates team.

You will be responsible for maintaining a customer focused and proactive Helpdesk and Reception. Duties including but not limited to:

• Deal with visitor/stakeholder enquiries, deciding what action is required and when to pass complex enquiries to others
• Accept/ give out paperwork to visitors as requested
• Ensure that all contractors are signed in/out and are appropriately inducted
• Ensure contractors are certified to undertake works.
• Ensure contractor has a site-specific Risk Assessment
• To issue keys/ swipe cards to authorised contractor
• Assist maintenance staff by developing, producing and updating all performance measures and distribute to all teams
• Obtain information from maintenance staff to provide updates to the customer and the maintenance system
• Liaise with customers and maintenance staff to arrange access for works
• Provide reports to maintenance staff on outstanding and out-of-date works
• The above duties will be carried out face to face; over email; over telephone - ability and experience in multitasking over several platforms is essential

Requirements For The Role

• Significant experience of working in a Helpdesk function, within either a facilities management or construction environment
• Experience of working with Microsoft Office suite and maintaining, updating, and manipulating records within a variety of databases
• Demonstrable ability to communicate technical details of repair and maintenance work requests
• Excellent understanding and demonstrable evidence of good customer service and its application
• Excellent organisational and planning skills
• Customer focused with a friendly and helpful attitude
• HNC Level qualified or equivalent / Customer Services qualification (or equivalent experience Desirable)
