Night Care Leader
Location: Brockworth
Pay rate: £15.06 per hour
Contracted hours: 24 hours per week, 2x 12 hour shifts, 8pm-8am

About The Role
Purpose of the Role: Responsible for the day-to-day cleaning & security responsibilities for a retail park ensuring that the cleaning specifications are adhered to. Delivering outstanding customer services to all visitors to the site. Ensuring all security and cleaning staff are performing to the satisfaction of the Client. Implementing appropriate training and development of staff, delivery of site responsibilities in accordance with the Assignment Instructions, fulfilment of all contracted hours/ duties, proactive and reactive support to the Client. To assist, provide leadership, support, direction and guidance to the OCS day and night teams, with a strong and positive stance to the delivery of excellent and appropriate customer service.

You will be working 2-week rotating shift pattern including one weekend, 08:00 to 17:00, 40 hours per week, on a permanent, full-time basis. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Driving service excellence standard throughout the team
• Continually monitoring and evaluating the performance of the team to ensure the required standards of delivery are met
• Carrying out patrol of the grounds of the retail park
• Building and maintaining a professional relationship with all internal & external customers
• Ensure staffing levels are kept in line with the contractual agreement, recruiting as required
• Maintaining effective and accurate communication
• Ensure that OCS's and the centre's Health and Safety Policy is met, maintained and regularly reviewed in line with the needs of the business and any legislative change
• Ensure equipment is maintained and regularly inspected
• The ordering of stock and uniform for the site within budgetary and contractual constraints
• Maintain management information for the Regional Manager in relation to KPIs/SLA's
• Control and maintenance of detailed information including rotas, hours, budgets, training, absenteeism
• Maintaining a high standard of customer service delivery
• Carrying out performance reviews to keep team in line with contractual duties
• Following and understanding of OCSs policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Valid SIA licences
• IOSH qualification
• First Aid at work
• Customer Service Training I.e. World Host or similar course or qualification

• Use of Microsoft word and Excel and confident in IT

As Assistant Site Manager you will be accountable to the Facilities Site Manager.

You will have the responsibility for supporting the Facilities Site Manager to manage a large team of Facilities Management Assistants across several sites, providing a comprehensive Soft FM Service across the sites including catering, cleaning, portering and site management.

The role will also involve working some weekends and bank holidays.



We are seeking a motivated and positive Assistant Site Manager to join our Facilities Management Team based at Rathbone Hospital.


The Assistant Facilities Site Manager will have the responsibility for supporting the Facilities Site Manager to manage a large team of Facilities Management Assistants (FMAs) across Rathbone Hospital, Hope Centre and Wavertree Bungalow sites, providing a comprehensive Soft FM service across the sites including catering, cleaning, portering and site management. They will be expected to deputise for the Facilities Site Manager on occasions. As this is a multi-sited service there will be a requirement to travel between all sites.



Candidates should ideally have Facilities experience in a supervisory role, hold or be prepared to work towards the IOSH Managing Safety qualification and will ideally have CIEH Level 3 food safety qualification.



It is essential that the successful candidate can demonstrate strong organisational and administration skills and be competent in the use of various IT systems, particularly for staff rosters and procurement.



The candidate must be flexible and will be expected to work weekends and bank holidays and cover extra shifts when required.

1. To be responsible for effective communication to all site occupiers and to minimise disruption to services.


1. To work closely with the Hard FM Contractor and their support staff to deliver effective and efficient operational processes in connection with the smooth running of the premises.


1. To support the line manager in achieving a balanced budget.


1. To work closely with and be the first contact with all external suppliers, in relation to the effective delivery of Soft FM services.


1. To support the Facilities Site Manager in ensuring that the grounds and gardens are clean at all times.


1. To undertake all necessary and appropriate Performance Appraisal Development Reviews in a timely and effective manner, in accordance with Trust guidelines.


1. To have awareness and knowledge of the latest Health and Safety requirements in connection with the management of an NHS inpatient site and to apply the knowledge in relation to all Soft FM Services.


1. Assist the Facilities Site Manager in the delivery of departmental and Trust goals and objectives, as they relate to Soft FM Services.



Organisational:


1. To ensure all equipment is kept in a secure, operable and clean condition at all times, reporting and addressing hazards.


1. To report adverse incidents in line with operational procedures.


1. To ensure stock levels for all Soft FM requirements are sufficient to meet the needs of the service.


1. To work closely with and be the first contact with all external suppliers, in relation to the effective delivery of Soft FM services.


1. Manage the provision of Personal Protective Equipment for all staff ensuring adequate replacing of same as appropriate and required.


1. To ensure that all cleaning schedules are kept up to date and readily accessible.


1. To assist the Facilities Site Manager in the implementation of business

continuity plans to ensure safe and effective Soft FM service delivery.


1. To maintain systems that ensure that catering is delivered safely and

1. To be responsible for ensuring that environmental standards relating to

Soft FM are achieved and maintained across the site. This will include

changes to priority risk areas which may necessitate differing working practices.


1. To undertake and record all environmental checks and monitoring of all areas

as directed. For example; National Specifications of Cleanliness audits

with agreed audit tools and to assist in PEAT Inspections as required by

the Facilities Site Manager.


1. To ensure catering services meet the therapeutic, nutritional, religious/faith

and lifestyle requirements of the diner, liaising with appropriate professionals.



To ensure that all catering inspections are carried out as and when required, this will include periodic customer satisfaction surveys
