About the Role
Base Location: Hornsea or Aldbrough
Salary: £40,600 - £61,000 + performance-related bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, and wellbeing.

SSE Thermal is looking to hire a Support Services Manager to work on the Gas Storage facilities in Hornsea and Aldbrough. The successful candidate will manage a team delivering the necessary support activities to facilitate the efficient operation of the business at the Gas Storage sites including:
- Providing office services to the site teams.
- Providing support to the site teams in the areas of finance, procurement, stock management, IT, personnel, competency management and training.
- Administrating and improving systems and procedures.
- Ensuring all SSE Corporate and Thermal administration requirements are met.
- Support the Gas Storage Leadership team in achieving its business objectives.
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
- Experience of financial or business administration and associated systems and significant experience providing business support.
- Experience of managing a team.
- Knowledge of relevant company procedures and systems, specifically for finance, procurement, IT, personnel, competency management and training.
- Highly organised and can coordinate others to meet business goals.
- Problem solving skills and the ability to convey complex information in a digestible format.
