About the Role

The Home Manager is responsible for the care and commercial management and profitability of the Home in accordance with Maria Mallaband Care Group policies and procedures and all external regulatory requirements.

This includes the efficient and effective day to day running of the Home, developing exceptional personalised service for every service user and their loved ones, management of all staff and developing positive working relations with external stakeholders. This is a fundamental role within Social Care.

About You;

We are looking for a Home Manager with the following skills, qualifications and experience:

• A qualified RGN/RMN with a valid NMC pin number
• Previous experience working as a registered home manager in a Care Home environment is desirable but not essential.
• A committed and organised approach.
• We require an excellent communicator with experience in leading and motivating staff members.
• A good understanding of Regulatory Compliance and the ability to demonstrate delivery of a quality service

THE ROLE

You’ll be the person who picks up the action while our permanent manager is on annual leave. This means overseeing the Delivery operation and ensuring the smooth running of the delivery team You'll lead and inspire a team of front-line colleagues to work efficiently and provide excellent service at the doorstep.

Our operation needs to be resilient, and we need the flexibility to be able to keep things running smoothly when our permanent managers are unavailable. You’ll play an integral part in building trust with customers.

SHIFT PATTERNS

Monday to Saturday with a rotating day off. Succesfull candidate will be covering multiple sites with different start times due to proximity to mail centre. Start time will range from 06:30 am
- 15:30 pm

The Service Manager is an integral part of the overall Divisional management structure and will support the General Manager and lead on operational management of community rehabilitation services within the Community Health and Integrated Care Division.
