We are looking for an Assistant Team Leader to deputise for the Team Leader in our Mental Health accommodation service in Nottingham.
About the role:
A new opportunity has arisen to become part of the Mental Health Accommodation Services in Nottingham. We are looking for a strong team player to support our tenants in our supported living service, and deputise for the Team Leader ensuring the smooth running of the services.
The Assistant Team Leader is responsible for providing day to day leadership for the team, promoting autonomy, as well as creating rotas around the needs and wishes of people we support using their commissioned support hours. The role will include making sure that our provision complies with relevant regulations and provides an excellent quality service.
Hours: Full time, 39 hours per week.
Rolling rotas on a 3-weekly basis.
Location: Nottingham (NG3, NG6 and NG7)
About you:
You will need to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the values and principles of choice support and show commitment to supporting people to achieve their aspirations and improve wellbeing.
Experience / Skills Required
· Working within a social care setting
· Ability to create rosters / allocations
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· IT Skills and ability to use Microsoft Office/Teams
· Ability to use Assistive technology
· Working with individuals who require Positive behaviour support
· Ability to support and supervise others
· Managing coaching skills
· Understanding effective budget management
· Empathic attitude with the ability to mediate and support individuals
Qualifications needed:
CQF or equivalent NVQ level 2 in health and social care or be willing to complete this in addition to completing further training.
