Main Responsibilities

As the first point of contact for our customers, you will use your excellent communication skills and professional and friendly manner to support customers with queries or complaints.

You will be required to listen, probe and investigate enquiries to determine the underlying needs of the customer, escalating queries where necessary

You will be required to work using your own initiative and judgement as well as work effectively as part of a team.

You will respond to customer queries through different channels such as telephone, e-mail and web chat

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for you to,

• have experience in a customer facing environment ideally in a contact centre
• be passionate about delivering the best customer service possible
• be able to use own judgement to resolve queries and complaints quickly and effectively
• have excellent listening skills and an empathetic approach when addressing issues or complaints
• be self motivated and able to work under pressure
• be able to contribute new ideas to help deliver personal and team performance

The hours of work are 9.00 -17.00 Monday to Friday

The position is fixed term role for two years

Successful candidates will be supported to develop in this role through a week’s comprehensive training in our Stafford office as well as continuous support and development to enable you to reach your full potential and enhance your career.

The First Contact Team, engages with citizens of Staffordshire, carrying out strengths based, outcome focused assessments via the telephone and virtual means. The Care Act 2014 compliant assessments determine citizens assessed eligible needs while promoting their assets and facilitating their independence.

First Contact develop care and support plans with people and work with Brokerage to put services in place to meet their residual eligible social care needs. The team are responsible for providing accessible information to people at the right time or to direct people to the right services based upon the persons situation, this may include local support groups, health pathways and befriending support.

The team also complete in person assessment work across the county for carers and young carers of all ages. This is a hybrid role, all appropriate equipment will be provided to support this.

Main Responsibilities

You will:

• Take responsibility for the provision of assessments under the Care Act inclusive of all statutory functions
• Develop a collaborative relationship with adults and their circles of support in order to promote positive expectations of what they can achieve, understanding their talents, wishes and feelings.
• As part of the assessment process, undertake purposeful interaction with individuals, families and other professionals to understand the needs and strengths of the individual, their network of relationships and their capacity to consent.
• Analyse information to understand risks and develop strategies to explain, avoid or manage risk appropriately.
• Negotiate and agree appropriate, tangible and realistic outcomes with individuals and families.
• Collaborate with other professionals, within Adult Social Care or other organisations, in order to fully understand need and enable individuals to achieve their outcomes and to be as independent as possible.

You will have:

• Some understanding of the legislative and policy context of services for adults (Care Act), and findings from enquiries.
• Understanding of disability, older persons, carers and young carers and the impact, for and the impact, for individuals, their families and society

Parts Advisor / Customer Service Advisor

A rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced Parts Advisor to join a well-respected business based in Peterborough. This new addition to the team needs to have good all-round parts knowledge, ideally across multiple brands and be capable of working in a busy service-based environment.
This role is critical to the success and efficiency of the business, you will be supplying parts at speed to the relevant workshop technician whilst also ensure cost-effectiveness for the company.
Salary is dependent on experience, up to £30k is available to a genuine expert in their field.
Candidate Requirements:
* Automotive Parts Experience ideally from a car background but other sectors may be considered (HGV, plant etc.)
* Organised and driven by giving a great level of service to the workshop team.
* Ability to prioritise work in order of importance and urgency.
* Teamwork is critical as this is a very varied and busy role.

About You


NVQ Level 3 in health and social care desirable
Be well-organised, IT literate and adept at allocating and delegating work appropriately
Proven ability to lead and supervise others
A good understanding of care planning processes
Be experienced in or happy to undertake training on administering medication
Above all, have a natural ability to help make the lives of others more fulfilling

Our client is seeking a HR ADMINISTRATOR to join their team initially on a temporary on-going basis. This role could become permanent for the right candidate. You will have CIPD Level 3 as well as some admin experience to hit the ground running. The successful candidate will be working as part of the HR team to support the HR and Security Controller by taking on general admin tasks, payroll inputting, recruitment, training and development.

• Maintaining electronic personnel records
• Provide a high level of administrative support to the business
• Revise and maintain company policies to ensure we are always legally compliant
• Monitor absence records and return to work interviews

What we need from you:

• Proven experience working in a HR team
• CIPD qualified at Level 3 or equivalent
• Must be able to pass a DBS check
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Good IT knowledge including Microsoft Office packages
