On completion of additional years of service by 1 January of each year, following the anniversary of the date of appointment, your term time salary will be adjusted to include a payment in lieu of the additional leave day accrued at the beginning of each leave year for the first 10 years of service.

Key Tasks: To deliver direct care, treatment and emotional support for patients as required within set protocols/policies in accordance with the patients individual care plan. To contribute to the assessment, implementation and monitoring of patients and carers, identifying physical and/or psychological problems and liaising with the appropriate health and social care team members. Work in collaboration with colleagues to ensure the delivery of high quality, safe and compassionate care and support. To promote and maintain effective liaison with care team and other health and social agencies involved in the patients care. To assist in the day to day organisation of the service of carrying out duties as delegated by the Care at Home Team Leader, CNS or Sister Inpatient Unit. To promote Mountbatten services through good communication with health care providers and the general public of the Isle of Wight. Ensure that confidentiality of information is maintained at all times. You are required to adhere to the Mountbatten Infection Prevention and Control Policies and Procedures and must make every effort to maintain high standards of Infection Prevention and Control at all times, thus minimising the risks associated with healthcare associated infections. This is an exciting time for East Renfrewshire and we are looking for an energetic, strategic thinking, creative Team Manager who has the right values, experience and leadership to work within our Intensive Family Support Team. The team comprises of social work and health staff who have responsibility for working with colleagues in children’s and justice services to offer intensive support to families. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues within community team services by supporting operational duties and providing additional oversight to child protection and complex cases. This post holder will uniquely help shape and lead on targeted, tailored whole family support delivering compassionate and trauma informed social work support for children, parents and their wider communities.

You will be involved in financial and other resource management, performance management, and service development and will be expected to promote targeted interventions for children, young people and their families within our integrated model of health and social care. We are keen to hear from individuals that are committed to our vision and have a strong value base who remain compassionate when faced with complex situations. You will be committed to ensuring a timely, risk sensible and strength based practices which are focus around our ‘Signs of Safety model’.

The team manager role is key in shaping our vision and the post holders will demonstrate enthusiasm to both the communities we serve and staff they support.

Applicants will hold a professional social work qualification and be able to demonstrate considerable social work experience, whilst previous supervisory experience, project planning and organisational, analytical and communication skills will be an advantage.
