The role of this Personal Care Assistant:

Our personal care assistants join our client’s support team, providing reliable, essential care and support in their home. About the Client and Duties:

Our client is an active man in his 30’s who sustained a severe traumatic brain injury when he was a teenager. He has made excellent progress with his recovery and has full capacity. Whilst he does tasks around his home independently, he requires some support in his daily activities such as shopping, cooking, organisation and accessing the community. There is no personal care involved or any moving and handling.


Lunch and dinner are provided while on shift and you will prepare meals with our client and eat together. Our client is very fond of cooking and eating good quality food so a shared interest in this would be beneficial. You will accompany/support our client to social outings including gigs and restaurants which are paid for. There will also be the need for some of our clients care team to accompany him on holidays in the UK and abroad.


Training and Support -

Clinical

The reception, diagnosis and emergency treatment of patients presenting to the adult Emergency Department. The successful candidate will be given supervision and support from senior medical staff to develop competency in the autonomous clinical management of these patients whilst ensuring patient safety. This post is based in the adult Emergency Department and no sessions will be undertaken in the paediatric Emergency Department.

There is close liaison between ED and ICU at BRI. Patients referred to Specialist Units within the hospital are the responsibility of that specialist team, who will see the patient in the Emergency Department and arrange appropriate care. However, medical and nursing staff in the ED are responsible for any emergency care necessary. This shared care is seamless and collaborative.

Service Engineer
£OTE 35 - 45K, BS30, Bonus 40 hour standard week with paid overtime, Monday to Friday working, 28 days holiday, Pension, Permanent opportunity.

The duties of the service engineer or mechanical service engineer or field service fitter, will be servicing, repairing, delivering and installation of mechanical equipment at various locations.

The service engineer role will involve

• Mechanical repair, servicing, fitting and installation duties

Hours: Full-time, rota-based covering 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM

We are currently seeking a dedicated Customer Service Advisor to join our team for a one-year maternity cover position, with the potential for extension or a permanent opportunity.
The Role:
As a Customer Service Advisor, you will be responsible for handling customer and stakeholder enquiries related to housing repairs. You will ensure repair requests are raised, prioritised, and resolved in a timely manner. You will work closely with contractors and other teams to ensure the "right first time" completion of repairs and provide ongoing support to ensure high standards are met.
This role operates on a rota basis to ensure coverage between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM. The position offers a hybrid working arrangement, with work-from-home options set by your line manager to ensure full training and business requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to customer and stakeholder enquiries, ensuring compliance with council policies and procedures.
• Accurately raise repair requests, prioritise them according to urgency, and ensure they are scheduled effectively.
• Monitor the progress of repairs, liaising with operatives, surveyors, contractors, and customers to ensure timely completion.
• Use mobile devices and council systems to track and report on job completions, providing feedback to trade managers and supervisors.
• Make outbound contact with customers to schedule appointments and follow up on repairs enquiries.
• Provide guidance and information to customers, contractors, and colleagues on repair issues.
• Support the day-to-day operations of the customer service team, including administration tasks and assisting with project work when required.
• Ensure excellent service is delivered consistently, aligned with Bristol City Council's core values and performance indicators.

• Proven experience in a call centre or customer service environment, ideally within housing or repairs services.

Main duties of the job Clinical Undertake patient supporting roles to ensure effective medicines use, through shared decision-making conversations with patients. Day to day handling of prescription queries within area of own competence Medicines reconciliation post discharge and on other transfers of care To update and maintain accurate patient medication records on the practice clinical computer system, including advice given and action taken Delivery of training and development to practice based prescribing clerks and administrators to support improved co-ordination and effective pharmacy administration within General Practice. As determined by the PCN, support medication reviews and medicines reconciliation for new care home patients and synchronising medicines for patient transfers between care settings, linking with local community pharmacies Manage shared care protocols and liaise with Clinical Pharmacists for more complex patients. Handle function specific information, which may be sensitive, complex or confidential and appropriately recording, transferring and/or coordinating such information in accordance with the Data Protection Act and GDPR; Caldicott Guidelines and the Confidentiality Code of Conduct Technical and administrative Support the PCN multi-disciplinary team to ensure efficient medicines optimisation processes are being followed.Review and action safety alerts, dissemmiate where needed Implement efficient ordering and return processes and reducing medication wastage. Provide training and support on the legal, safe and secure handling of medicines, including the implementation of the Electronic Prescription Service (EPS). Promotion of Electronic Repeat Dispensing (eRD) and online ordering Develop relationships with other pharmacy professionals and members of the multi-disciplinary team to support integration across health and social care including primary care, commissioners, community pharmacy, secondary care and mental health. Support practice reception teams in streaming general prescription requests, so as to allow GPs and clinical pharmacists to review the more clinically complex requests. Support the implementation of prescribing policies and guidance within GP practices, care homes and other primary care settings.
