Serves as the U.S. Magistrate Court Liaison.

Performs other clerical and administrative work in support of the office/organization.

• Assist in the planning and execution of a diverse and complex set of personnel and administrative programs and obtaining and providing a variety of management service support functions essential to the direction and operation of the HRMS Division.
• Plan and execute personnel and administrative programs supporting two Headquarters Department of the Army (HQDA) principal agencies, to include management support services which requires an adherence to formal internal and external procedures.
• Plan and carry out projects and studies to identify and resolve problems pertaining to Civilian Human Resource (HR) program areas.
• Act as Purchasing Officer to purchase training and services using the Government Purchase Card (GPC).
• Provide analytical support in the form of spreadsheets, graphics, and word processing.
• Act as coordinator and subject matter expert for the Automated Time and Attendance Production System (ATAAPs) time keeping system for the organization.
• Administer the Incentive Awards program. Reviews Incentive, Honorary, and Professional Award nominations and approvals for compliance with regulations and directives.

• Serves as the Service Center technical authority on the Farm Loan Programs and the primary point-of-contact on all farm loan issues addressed in the counties serviced;
• Supervises and directs the work of a subordinate staff responsible for making, servicing, and liquidating loans under FSA farm loan authorities;
• Has delegated loan approval authority and performs the full range of loan specialist duties;
• Attends public meetings with various groups and associations, and performs public relations and outreach efforts in the geographic areas serviced;
• Has knowledge of the technical and administrative concepts, principles, and practices of farm loan and financial management;
• Has knowledge of farm operations, land use and value, and production and marketing of various crops and livestock.

• Carrying out office activities and functions pertaining to one or more of the program areas administered in the county.

• Registers/terminates children/youth within the CYS program and/or waiting list database. Utilizes the Child and Youth Management System (CYMS) to record transactions for customers and to enter data into predefined categories for reports and tracking.
• Provides administrative support including mail preparation, copying, distribution, correspondence, memorandums, briefings, Daily Activity Reports, and other requirements for day-to-day operations.
• Articulates policies relating to patron fees, waiting lists, enrollments, terminations, and program events. Coordinates vacancies and reservations for the hourly care program as required.

Major duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Involves specialized administrative judgment and the flexible use of a wide range of clinical flow processes relating to access to care across multiple clinics, specialties, and/or care in the community resources.
• Recommends changes to existing clinic procedures based on current administrative guidelines.
• Expertise in utilizing numerous advanced patient systems in support of multiple clinics involved in an interdisciplinary coordinated care delivery model.
• Coordinates with the patient care team to review clinic appointment availability (utilization) to ensure that clinic schedules are closely monitored to effectively support the needs of the clinics and adjusts as necessary.
• Develop and/or maintain effective and efficient communication with the patient, interdisciplinary coordinated care delivery model teams, VA medical centers, and other agencies (e.g., assist with communications during the inpatient to outpatient discharge; communicate with non-VA medical facilities; prepare correspondence to notify patients of normal lab results; manage a system for follow-up care such as consults, tests, etc.).
• Processes incoming patient secure messaging through MyHealthyVet and coordinates with care team as appropriate
• Participates in team huddles and team meetings to manage, plan, problem solve, and follow-up with patient care by sharing information and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team; setting priorities and deadlines, adjusting the flow and sequencing of the work to meet team and patient needs; identifies incomplete encounters and communicates findings to providers; as needed; assists the team to reinforce the plan of care and self-help solutions;

• Monitors pre-appointment information and/or requirements to assure readiness for patient visit/procedure

• Coordinates the planning, design and construction of engineering practices such as water management, animal waste management, erosion control, flood control, wetland creation or restoration, and other practices needing engineering guidance.

Duties and responsibilities for the position include but are not limited to the following:

1. Technically proficient in initiating, performing and completing assigned duties in providing care to variable patient populations including hypertension, diabetes, arthritis, cancer, congestive heart failure and other chronic diseases in addition to limited dermatology care..
2. Knowledge and ability to appropriately carry out assigned patient care based on the patients' conditions; to use judgment in selecting the appropriate order and sequence of procedures and treatments; and to accurately recognize, report and record relevant patient information. Completed work should need only a general review by a registered nurse or physician for appropriateness and conformity with established policies/procedures.
3. Prepares and administers prescribed medications (oral, topical, subcutaneous, intramuscular and/or intravenous) and performs treatments according to established policies/procedures. Observes for physical and/or emotional changes in patient's condition from prescribed medications/treatments, promptly and accurately documenting noted changes, and reporting any deviations from normal to RN or MD.
4. Ability to observe, identify and respond to the patient's needs for care, including medication, equipment-assisted care and patient/family education. In organizing and delivering care, the LPN recognizes and considers emotional, cultural, spiritual, socio-economic, and age-related factors.
5. Ability to work well within an interdisciplinary team including care coordination, patient teaching, documentation of care activities, completion of clinical reminders and alerts as indicated.

Performs tasks with several steps or sequences of tasks such as:  sets up food service counters, steam tables, dining room tables, and side service stands with hot and cold food, including meats, vegetables, salads, desserts, bread, butter, and beverages.  Serves food cafeteria-style to diners.  Serves tables family-style by placing dishes of food on tables and refilling as necessary.  Makes coffee in large urns according to the number of servings desired, with responsibility for timing and brewing.  Makes a variety of fruit and vegetable salads such as fresh fruit, tossed green, tomato and lettuce, and lettuce wedges.  Serves food in standard portions by placing uniform amounts in small dishes or glasses in prescribed quantities.  Makes simple sandwiches.  Packs box lunches.  Maintains water and detergent levels in dishwasher; removes strainer pans, inspection doors, etc., for proper cleaning of dishwasher, inside and out; removes calcium deposits as required; and restores room to orderliness.

May unload food from delivery trucks and move heavy garbage cans.   May operate cash register and be responsible for own change fund.
