What is a Business Administrator Apprenticeship?We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Administrator to join the Learning Support team at York College. You will work as part of the team to ensure our students get the support they need, by sending out invitations to review meetings and collating responses, uploading information to students’ records for teachers and support staff to read, and dealing with student enquiries. You will receive on the job training and ongoing support.
What’s the deal?You will work 37 hours per week, during term time for 40 weeks per year, earning £8.20 per hour (£15,821 per annum).

Care Assistant - Tallington Lodge Care Home located in Tallington near Stamford, Part of The Country Court Family
Hours: Days, 33 Hours per week, working weekends on rota (Hours 07:00-19:00)
Sympathetically refurbished and extended using traditional local stone Tallington Lodge is an integral part of the community in the pretty village of Tallington in Lincolnshire. Led by our Home Manager, the staff create a safe and warm friendly atmosphere for all our residents and visitors.

ABOUT THE CARE ASSISTANT ROLE
Within the Care Assistant role, you can really make a difference to our residents’ lives. Your responsibilities will include:

Helping our residents with personal support and care
Aiding their emotional well-being and social needs
Supporting residents at meals time
Interacting with our residents on a personal level
Maintaining and developing the residents care plan to ensure their needs are met

ABOUT YOU
Our fantastic staff are at the heart of our homes & provide vital day-to-day support to our residents, so we would love to hear from those who really do want to make a difference to people’s lives.

Be no stranger to working long shifts
Have good written & verbal communication skills
Able to engage well with the residents and their families
Have an understanding of people with Dementia.
Experience as a Care Assistant is preferred but not essential
Have an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social care or be willing to work towards this.
