We are looking for an Employment Support Worker to join the Employment and skills Service

Prevention services support vulnerable people by providing them with skills, housing advice, accommodation, and tenancy sustainment support. All these services to help people transition towards leading independent lives.

To provide individual and group support to young people through assessing the needs of individual/ group of young people through 1:1/ group support; undertaking the development and monitoring of individual learning plans, mentoring, and coaching young people and working in partnership with other agencies to deliver interventions, providing feedback where required.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a full-time ward clerk/receptionist to join our renal team. The unit compromises of the renal inpatients ward and the dialysis unit. The Renal Unit provides care for patients who have kidney failure which includes patients requiring dialysis treatment and transplantation.

MAIN RESPONSIBILTITES: Pathology Services: To collect, log and send samples to the relevant pathology assessment service in accordance with the Pathology standard operating procedures (SOPs) and national guidelines for the for the dispatching of pathology samples. To receive samples from network sites and clinics, log and send them to the relevant provider, returning the labelled Bio-Bottle containers to the originator as required. To safely handle, log and send pathology samples (blood and other body fluid samples, tissue samples and so forth) to the relevant pathology provider. To carefully check the request form and patient samples in accordance with the Request Form and specimen Labelling Policy. To prioritise the workload so that urgent samples are dealt with in a timely manner and to record all urgent requests as required, to follow these up and promptly give results to the requesting clinician.
