About the Role

I am currently recruiting for an IT Support Manager for a legal firm to support the IT Helpdesk in both the Leeds and Manchester office. Experience needed

Previous knowledge of legal applications e.g. document management systems, customer relationship management systems, practice management systems, digital dictation and case / matter management

Excellent working knowledge and understanding of Microsoft operating systems, server and client, Microsoft 365, Intune (MDM)

Experience supporting modern workplace technologies such as AV and Room booking systems

Good understanding of user hardware (user devices - laptops, mobiles) and working styles

Previous supervisory experience and ability to delegate tasks effectively

Previous experience of performing a similar role in a comparable environment

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a rewarding career as part of our Home Support Service providing a person-centred care approach to individuals living in North Lanarkshire. As a member of the team you will use a reablement approach, working closely alongside individuals and their families, to focus on promoting and maximising independence, self-management and natural resources. You will enable individuals to gain or regain their confidence, ability and necessary skills whilst living in their home environment, encompassing natural supports.

We have opportunities within the Home Assessment Team (HAT) which focusses on getting the right supports in place, in those first days, after service users return home from hospital. We also have opportunities within the wider home support service providing longer term care.

A SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent is desirable, successful applicants who don't currently hold this qualification will be supported to achieve this. You should also be motivated and enthusiastic with a pleasant, friendly manner and respectful of the privacy and dignity of individuals. As a good communicator, you must also be able to observe and respond to changes in the health and wellbeing of people in your care, updating and recording individual care plans as appropriate.

Experience of working within a care setting, undertaking moving and assisting is desirable together with some IT skills. A current driving licence is essential for Home Support Workers in the Home Assessment Team. You will require to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member prior to commencing in this role.

You will also be registered or eligible for registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).

Backshift vacancies. Contracts available for 21, 24.5 or 28 hours, averaged over two week pattern.
