The successful applicant will work as part of the clinical leadership team leading the delivery of our Healthy Child Service.

Deputising in the absence of the Clinical Lead or Deputy Clinical Lead.
Leading on specific areas of clinical development which may involve leading workstreams with system partner participation, with an all-age focus.
Active participation in trust wide activity, such as review and development of SOPS and Policies; audit, research and training delivery and development.
Working to produce pieces of commissioned work within agreed timescales.
Managing electronic A&E notifications and other practical task related activity.
Representing the service at external meetings and events as they arise.

1. To provide deputy clinical leadership that develops needs led, evidence-based care supporting local and national priorities and policies as well as relevant clinical guidelines, and improves outcomes for children and young people
2. To work alongside the Speech and language service, Mental Health support in schools teams and the Mental Health, Advice Support and Access teams across Norfolk and Waveney.
3. To provide clinical knowledge by translating evidence-based practice and leadership into service design.
4. To continually support digital access to enhance the service offer through Just One Norfolk / Just One Number.
5. To ensure the voice of the child, young person and family remains pivotal to service planning and delivery, which may include clinical delivery at the direction of Clinical Lead and working with the co-production lead.
6. To support the embedding of clinical governance within the service and be able to provide assurance as and when required.
7. To ensure the embedding of new and current 0-19 service developments countywide and to lead on projects as required.
8. To participate in recruitment activity and support succession planning.
9. To ensure consistency in the development of new roles within localities and to support the leadership team to manage this transition.
10. To plan, deliver and evaluate packages of training and learning opportunities for all staff working within the 0-19 teams, in collaboration with partner agencies considering local and national policies and procedures.
11. Carry out all duties to the highest possible standard. To participate in regular management supervision, annual appraisal and a personal development plan.
12. To be professionally and legally responsible and accountable for all aspects of ones own work in line with the NMC Code of Conduct and Trust Policies.
