Assistant Automotive Service Centre Manager required in Newport.

- Starting salary up to £29-31,000 per annum with around £1,800+ additional annual bonus potential.
- Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:30pm and 1 in 2 Sat 8:30am-4:00pm.

Our client, one of the UK's largest automotive service centre/tyre retailers with multiple centres nationwide, is currently recruiting for an experienced Assistant Centre Manager in Newport.

Reporting to the Centre Manager and working alongside a small workshop team, as an Assistant Centre Manager, your responsibilities will include:

- Assist the Centre Manager in the operation and daily running of the centre.
- Play a key part in achieving targets including key performance indicators.
- Maximising workflow through the workshop to achieve maximum efficiencies.
- Providing support in the workshop during peak periods.
- Oversee the maintenance of stock values within the centre.
- Ensuring all Health and Safety requirements are adhered to.
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures.
- Offer and deliver excellent customer service.
- Assisting with the training and mentoring of employees.

To be eligible you will need to hold commercial experience with a proven background within the automotive sector at a supervisory/management level and have mechanical experience working as a Vehicle Technician given you will be required to assist in the workshop during peak periods. You will have the ability to lead and manage a team of individuals, the ability to demonstrate success in developing and maintaining a positive sales culture, a strong customer focus with the ability to encourage the team to deliver a consistent and positive customer experience, and experience in maximising sales whilst controlling costs, compliance with centre and management standards. A UK driving licence with minimal points is mandatory.

ASSISTANT FIELD CARE TEAM LEADER

Job Title: Assistant Field Care Team Leader - Domiciliary Care Location: Pembrokeshire: Haverfordwest, Milford Haven and surrounding areas

The Role;

Assistant Field Care Team Leader based in Haverfordwest, Milford Haven and surrounding areas. As an Assistant Field Care Team Leader you will assist overseeing the quality and development of a team of care assistants and be a key point of contact for carers, liaising with carers and organising effective and appropriate service support for supervising a team of Carers out in the community. You will have responsibility for ensuring the quality and continuity of service delivery, including periods when Carer/ Support Workers are on leave or attending training. As an Assistant Field Care Team Leader you will assist with monitoring and reviewing care plans, and ensuring all clients care visits are running to the high standards expected. Carrying out supervision’s and Spot Checking of care staff.

The Candidate:

The Assistant Field Care Team Leader will have a background in health or social care gained within a care setting. You will possess a NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent or be willing to work towards QCF level 2 and then progress onto level 3; you will be computer literate and be able to work as part of a team, you will be self-motivated with outstanding communication and organisation skills. As the role is predominately Office/field based a driving licence is essential as is flexible approach to working hours as you will be required to work shifts and participate in formulating Rota’s and the rota monitoring system CM2000 - Call Confirm Live. You will be provided with training to support you in your role and you will be expected to be available to attend that training together with any arranged managerial meetings.
