Full -Time: Working hours are 8 hours per day, shift patterns and flexibility will be discussed during the interview. (The provision of the contract is between 08:00 and 22:00

Location: Maidenhead and Slough

Candidates are required to have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle for the purposes of undertaking the requirements of this role.

Making a difference

The Community Accommodation with Support, tier 2 (CAS-2) contract is a high-profile commission direct from the Ministry of Justice. Operating in every region across England and Wales. CAS-2 provide accommodation, support to low and medium risk offenders that are eligible for a home detention curfew or bail that would otherwise be held in prison because they do not have accommodation in the community. It is currently Nacro’s largest single contract and is set to grow by 60% over the next 18 months!

What will you be doing:

In this role no two days are ever the same and you will have the opportunity to make an impact and a difference for our service users and wider communities. Managing your diary to meet the requirements of the role, you’ll meet with service users, discuss support needs and how we can help them to meet their objectives; complete Support and Safety Plans, work with Community Probation Practitioners and court staff to best support our service users. You’ll also need to be able to help our service users with applying for Housing Benefit and paying rent etc. All of our properties require to meet the ‘Decent Homes Standard’ and to do that you’ll need great attention to detail to ensure that our homes are clean, tidy and all repairs are reported and actioned, so they are readily available for our service user to move into.

ICTS are looking for reliable and technology savvy Relief Security Officers to ensure the security and safety of premises and people amongst the sites of our new Data Centre client in the Slough and Uxbridge area.

You'll be required to work 12 hour shifts, and be part of a relief team that will support the ongoing operation to cover holiday and leave. You'll need to be flexible enough respond to last minute blow outs, but in return you will be paid a minimum of 36 hours a week, even if you are not required to attend any shifts for that week! Of course, if you work over 36 hours a week, you will be paid for those hours too!

An experienced Security Officer, you will carry out a range of duties in a modern and fast paced environment, including:

- Managing access control for buildings and car-parks - for employees, visitors, and contractors.

- Patrolling the buildings, car parks, and grounds to deter and detect problems.

- Checking and challenging ID passes with a professional and friendly approach.

- De-activating and activating alarms, and unlocking and locking buildings, rooms, external barriers and gates to ensure that no unauthorised personnel or hazards are on site.

- Fire, security and building systems monitoring, including CCTV.

- Identifying and reporting Health & Safety issues and carrying out first aid if necessary.

- Responding to customer requests and queries

An SIA Door Supervision (DS) or Security Guarding (SG) license is essential, and to succeed in this role you will also need:

- Excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills

- The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure

- Experience in a customer-facing role, ideally in security

- Five years' checkable history and references

- To pass a criminal records check (CRC) to the required standards

The following would also be useful, but are not essential:

- SIA Public Space Surveillance (PSS) (CCTV) licence

- First Aid qualification

- Experience in a similar role
