We want to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic Welfare and Care Assistant to join our support team.

As a member of our Support Team, you will work closely with other support staff, teaching assistants and teachers to support children with a range of disabilities and support needs. The role supports learners’ personal and physical care needs including changing and feeding, as well as supporting young people in classes and to access community-based activities including pushing wheelchairs. This could also be an ideal role for parents/carers who want to work around their children’s school hours.

The Business & Enterprise Team is responsible for the County Council’s support to Businesses throughout the County. This includes the County Farms, Enterprise Centres, Business advice and support, Planning, Economic Regeneration and the Staffordshire Business Environment Network.

The position is Monday to Friday between 9am to 5pm, office hours.

Main Responsibilities

You will be working in the Shire Hall Business Centre in the middle of Stafford Town Centre. Your job will be to provide reception and administrative support to assist the Enterprise Centre Manager in the operation of the building and the businesses who work there.

You will also:

• Ensure that occupiers are aware of sources of business advice and assistance.
• Be an on-site Reception presence at Shire Hall Business Centre, Stafford.
• Arrange for prospective occupiers to view vacant units and maintain a list of vacant units and an up-to-date list of occupiers.

You will need:

• to have achieved a Level 2 NVQ in Business Admin, Customers Services or equivalent and be willing to study to level 3.

• good standards of literacy, numeracy and communication skills.
• previous experience in an office or reception environment is needed and experience of working with small businesses in a customer relations role would be most beneficial.

The First Contact Team, engages with citizens of Staffordshire, carrying out strengths based, outcome focused assessments via the telephone and virtual means. The Care Act 2014 compliant assessments determine citizens assessed eligible needs while promoting their assets and facilitating their independence.

First Contact develop care and support plans with people and work with Brokerage to put services in place to meet their residual eligible social care needs. Main Responsibilities

As the first point of contact for our customers, you will use your excellent communication skills and professional and friendly manner to support customers with queries or complaints.

The position being recruited for is a Field Service Engineer CV, on a permanent full-time contract, this role will be homebased and customer site based. Candidates need to be based in and around the Luton area north of the M25, this would allow good support to the Oxford area and also Norwich amongst other locations.

What will your role look like?

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced multi-skilled service engineer to install, commission, provide training on and service and repair our range of Laser Cutters, Laser Engravers and CNC machine tools at customer’s sites throughout the UK.

Operating from our base near Halifax, you should have a recognised electrical qualification, be a good customer facer and have sound computer knowledge.

The role is a predominantly field based. In a typical working week, you would take equipment to be installed in your company provided van and be away on average 2-3 nights a week. Working is Monday to Friday, usually finishing at 12.00 on a Friday depending on workload. In-depth product specific training will be provided.
