As the Quality & Knowledge Specialist, you are responsible for the quality & knowledge management for your markets. You are responsible for collaboration with both in-house and out-sourced operations, maintaining and increasing CS global quality. Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and control quality assurance processes and standards.
• Analyze performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Lead the quality and knowledge management processes for both in-house and outsourced teams.
• Work closely with in-house and outsourced operations teams to ensure alignment on quality and knowledge management initiatives.
• Implement knowledge management best practices and tools.

• Conducts comprehensive evaluations of ongoing functions to ensure that programs meet their stated goals and identifies areas where operational efficiency could be enhanced.
• Responsible for planning future resource needs; estimates short- and long-range personnel, budgetary, space, and equipment needs and implementing new resources.
• Develop long-range management plans and new substantive well-being programs.
• Assists in determining the need for written policies and procedures, overseeing the development of policies and procedures.
• Acts as contract officer representative for agreements and contracts utilized in furtherance of the program.
• Participates in AD HOC committees, that includes representatives of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center and other agencies concerned with training policies and academic requirements.
• Coordinates with subject matter specialists; and assures that the course complements other courses in the program; determines the need for research.

• The incumbent will conduct and participate in long-term monitoring of vegetation resources within the network parks.
• The incumbent will be the field crew lead for all vegetation monitoring protocols (Integrated Uplands, Spring Vegetation, Fov-Needle Pine, and Aspen).
• Responsibilities will include planning and leading vegetation monitoring data collection efforts, as well as collecting vegetation monitoring data, ensuring the consistent collection of data by all crew members.
• Ensuring the safety of crew members, summarizing data for a variety of vegetation monitoring metrics, and potentially reporting or presenting the findings to a wide variety of audiences ranging from scientific peers to the general public.
• Additional responsibilities include organizing the logistics, scheduling, and planning for field implementation of the vegetation resource monitoring program.
• The incumbent will work with other field technicians and ensure that field work follows approved safety plans and data quality assurance and quality control procedures.

Major duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Sets up and breaks down assigned station with the correct supplies and food items;
• Portions food items into standard serving sizes using the proper utensils and specified dishware;
• Selects and places correct items on patient trays;
• Decides what food items to serve for the most common diets;
• Identifies obvious discrepancies between the prescribed diets and the food items designated by the menu;
• Sets up dining room tables for service, place food and beverages on tables, and replenish items as necessary;
• Delivers meal trays to the patients' bedsides; reporting the patients' comments and complaints to the supervisor or dietitian;
• Provides assistance to cooks in the food preparation area, such as weigh, measure and assemble ingredients according to standardized recipes;
• Prepares fresh fruit/cold salads/dressings/sandwich fillings and cold sandwiches and simple cold desserts;
• Reads and interprets regular or modified menus, individual diet cards, tray tickets or patient selections;
• Performs heavy-duty cleaning tasks throughout the food service and related areas;
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Selected candidates will attend training at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Glynco, Georgia. Completion of Ranger Specific Basic Training (RSBT) and Land Management Police Training (LMPT) is required. Completion of the Field Training and Evaluation Program (FTEP) is also mandatory. FTEP may or may not occur at the candidate's employing park. Training occurs on-site at FLETC and students are housed in dormitories or hotels at no cost to the trainee. Park Ranger (Protection) Standard Duties:

• Enforce Federal laws, regulations and policies; patrol front country and backcountry sites.
• Emergency response (utilizing Incident Command System) including medical services, search and rescue, and wildland/structural fire suppression.

You will be required to successfully complete law enforcement basic training which is approximately 18 weeks in duration. Upon FLETC basic training completion, you will be detailed to a designated park for 11 weeks to complete required FTEP on-the-job training.
