Qualifications:

Educated to masters level or equivalent level of experience of working at a senior level in a specialist area.

Knowledge:

Extensive knowledge of specialist areas, acquired through post graduate diploma or equivalent experience or training plus further specialist knowledge or experience to master’s level equivalent
Must have detailed working knowledge or experience of managing payment flows to providers across the Health & Social Care system for example experience of working with payments processes such as ContrOCC and Caretrack. - To be confident and knowledgeable in IT systems. - To manage the preparation of draft meeting agendas, notify attendees, book virtual meetings or room bookings, taking minutes/action notes. - Producing high quality documents. - To assist the department in QSI accreditation. - Working with and supporting other colleagues within the Radiology administration team as and when required. - Monitoring of compliance of appraisals & training in the department, expiration dates of policies and protocols, sending reminders to authors and escalating appropriately, quality assurance compliance for equipment, compliance of Health & Safety, EPRR and KPIs. - To establish a system of notifying staff when documentation is due for review. - To support the Quality & Governance team in compiling information for submission. Children's Home Registered Manager

Job Type: Permanent
Location: Gloucester
Salary: £52,265 - £56,050 per annum dependent on experience

About the role:
To lead, manage and be accountable for a large team of 19 wte residential staff, plus 2 ancillary staff, in the delivery of statutory duties to young people. This children's home is unique in that it comprises 8 beds, including 4 semi independent, self-contained flats for young people aged 16+ in preparation for moving onto independence. There is also the potential to continue caring for young people as they reach 18yrs, if they are not yet ready to move into the community. The manager's assessment of this aspect of service delivery will always need to be approved, on an individual basis (and in line with the resident's needs) by Ofsted, the regulator.

Requirements:

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Care (or nearing completion/able to begin the programme) or an equivalent qualification e.g. Degree in Social Work (or equivalent
• Evidence of continued professional develop
• Full UK driving license
• DBS clearance
