ABOUT THE TEAM
The ARC (Automation, Reinvention and Collaboration) team is the innovation arm of Operations at Parametric, with the mission to prepare the group to become the next-gen operations organization. The team works closely with tech, investment and other functions at Parametric to provide the platform, capabilities and enablement for operations to scale up and succeed.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a passionate and result-driven product leader with strong technical background and vision for leveraging emerging technologies to drive operational innovation. As the Operations Product Lead in ARC, the individual will play a critical role in driving innovation and operational excellence at Parametric. This role will act as the product owner for the technology systems used by operations teams, bridging the needs between development teams and business users. Additionally, this role will also potentially expand to lead the exploration and experimentation of AI use cases in Operations, working as a close partner to our AI technology teams to leverage AI to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define, prioritize, and manage the product roadmap for the technology systems used by Operations.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate into product requirements.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure that products are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the defined requirements.
- Manage the product lifecycle, including planning, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Manage and drive execution of department projects and initiatives including Operations technology projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, business partners, technology, product and sales functions.
- Effectively communicate product vision, progress, and challenges to stakeholders.
- Identify and explore potential AI use cases for Operations, to collaborate with technology partners to improve operational efficiency, reduce risks, and enhance client experience.
- Represent the team to executive leadership, key stakeholders. This role will serve as a key contact for operations teams in other locations, sales and product teams, portfolio management, client service and technology areas.
- Leads and drives continuous improvement in operations as a member of the Global ARC team. Develop people to be change agents, empowering employees to act on improvements and change quickly - with or without the aid of technology.
- Represent Operations as a key business partner across the organization, keeping Operations at the forefront and actively engaged in business and product decisions. Act as a single point of contact for product management and other business stakeholders by facilitating innovation and a rapid pace of change.
- Lead and mentor junior team members.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Performs wide array of developmental functions, including interviewing, performance appraisals, development planning, and corrective action/termination.
- Develop and implement talent management strategies to attract, develop, and retain top talent.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Engineering degree (bachelor / master) from a top tier college
- 10+ years previous experience in product management in financial services industry or consulting
- Prior experience supervising teams preferred
- Ability to function successfully in ambiguous conditions
- Well organized, self-starter with the ability to analyze information and support others
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines
- Proven track records of delivering successful technology products
- Experience with agile development methodologies
- Knowledge of data analytics and business intelligence tools
- Familiarity with cloud-based technologies and infrastructure
- Experience with AI is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must communicate well with all levels of staff and management from all functions
- Resolve issues quickly with a sense of urgency
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Logical in approach and successful in a startup environment
- May be required to work coverage during local holidays as markets require
