A secondary school in Wakefield is seeking a full-time School Administrator to join our team immediately, working through to Christmas. This role requires an organised and dedicated individual who can handle a variety of responsibilities with accuracy and efficiency.
Position Details:
- Start Date: ASAP until Christmas
- Hours: 37 hours per week
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one) required
Requirements:
- Proven experience in an administrative role.
- Ability to multitask in a school environment.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Responsibilities Include:
Attendance:
- Support the maintenance of absence records in the MIS database (Arbor).
- Generate absence reports and data as requested by school leadership.
Student Services:
- Address general student enquiries, assisting in student services.
- Facilitate communication between parents and students.
- Manage lost property and locker queries.
Reprographics:
- Provide an efficient reprographics service, fulfilling printing requests within designated times.
- Ensure all supplies are adequately stocked, ordered, and stored.
Visitor Reception (during breaks and peak periods):
- Cover reception, handling phone calls, processing emails, and greeting visitors.
- Follow visitor sign-in procedures, checking DBS status for contractors and agency staff per legislative requirements.
