Can you take the lead in delivering and coordinating MHE training?
YOUR ROLE
The Learning and Development Advisor at Kuehne+Nagel supports the training and development of colleagues in the Government and Defence contract, ensuring compliance with statutory, policy, and contractual training requirements. You'll deliver MHE training, assist with training budgets, financial tasks, and performance metrics, and support ongoing professional development to keep our workforce motivated and skilled. The Learning and Development Advisor at Kuehne+Nagel supports the training and development of colleagues in the Government and Defence contract, ensuring compliance with statutory, policy, and contractual training requirements. You'll deliver MHE training, assist with training budgets, financial tasks, and performance metrics, and support ongoing professional development to keep our workforce motivated and skilled.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, deliver and evaluate mandatory training courses to include, Local inductions, Fire briefs and ABC Modules.
- Coordination and delivery of MHE training to the KN standard and to meet Operational requirements.
- Delivery of Corporate Inductions and Code of Conduct training to ensure compliance.
- Train, coach and develop key members of staff with the necessary skills and knowledge required to deliver Practical Training and Local Inductions.
- Work with the L&D Manager and Compliance Team to develop a training strategy and plan in partnership with National QSHE as appropriate, in line with policy to meet operational training and development needs.
- Develop and publish a training calendar which meets business needs and priorities.
- Responsible for producing weekly / monthly / quarterly data capture slide on course allocation & attendance.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
- Experience of training development, coordination and delivery essential
- Previous experience of MHE instruction desirable, however MHE operator experience essential
- Managing a training plan/schedule essential together with experience as a Practical Trainer or Local Inductor desirable
- Work as part of a team and within a customer focused environment.
