Job Scope:
1) Teach staff and pupils how to use Web 2.0 tools for Teaching & Learning (T&L) on devices such as tablets and laptops.
2) Ensure ICT implementation and integration are according to the school's needs and interests.
3) Conduct IT lessons/trainings to all students from P1 to P6 based on the ICT programme provided by the school. The ICT skillset to be trained are subject to changes.
4) Work closely with teachers to create lesson resources (test, lessons, etc)
5) Taking on IT duties such as ICT administration, asset management and ICT procurement.
6) Support the planning and execution of school’s ICT trainings.
7) Support teachers in the adoption of good ICT practice by exploring ICT tools and applications for T&L.
8) Proficient in the use of MS Office applications.
9) Assist ICT manager in stock taking with basic stock taking skills.
10) Set up and manage various ICT tools to support school operations (equipment’s, blue screen recording, podcasts recording, resource booking, surveys, parent-teacher meeting)
11) Administer T&L-related surveys (Creating survey platforms and generating results), admin work (Designing PowerPoint presentations, posters, etc)
12) Facilitate school’s events / competitions by creating montages, editing music and video, administering surveys, taking photo/ video-taking.
13) Work closely with teachers & students to cultivate a healthy e-learning environment.
14) Train pupils in the Digital Media Club in Photography and videography
15) Contractor is to provide a replacement for a trainer to teach Chinese/Tamil touch-typing during the period of training if the trainer is unable to deliver the training.
16) Manage the bookings of Computer Laboratories
17) Possess basic coding skills to teach students and support Code for Fun Programme
18) Video creation and production for school events.
19) To design and print ICT certificates for students trained by personnel.
20) Other ad-hoc duties or requests assigned by the School Leaders, HOD (ICT), SH(ICT), ICT Manager and other assigned School Staff.
Requirements:
- Team player with good communication and inter-personal skills
- Possess minimally a diploma or equivalent in IT related content
- Proficient in areas of photography, videography and video-editing
- Relevant work teaching or training experience in Primary School environment.
Working Arrangement:
Mondays to Fridays: 7:30am to 5:00pm
Contract Period: From 1 Jan 2025 to 31 Dec 2025 (option to extend till 2026)
