We are looking for a professional, customer-focused and highly organised individual to work as a key member of a busy Executive Development Team. The role directly contributes to the successful delivery of the School’s Executive Development activities by providing administrative support across a number of executive education activities.

The Opportunity:

This role will be responsible for providing executive programme logistics support across both online and face to face programme delivery including pre-arrival/induction activities and end of programme evaluation, providing front of house reception duties when required, providing administrative support for psychometric and diagnostic tools, as well as sales and marketing support.

This post is full-time (35 hours per week). This role is fully office based.

Your skills and attributes for success:

Good standard of education (Vocational qualifications N/SVQ 2/3, ONC or equivalent) plus experience in a relevant role or school education to Standard Grade or equivalent plus relevant work experience.
Fluent in English and competent literacy skills.

The Opportunity:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Research Technician to join the Rheumatology research team at the Institute of Genetics and Cancer. The post holder will have extensive experience in skeletal joint biology and arthritis research, and enthusiasm to support an internationally competitive research programme which builds upon or shows synergy with those of other research groups at the University of Edinburgh. The post holder will also contribute to daily supervision of laboratory students.

This is an open-ended (i.e. permanent) post and is full-time (35 hours per week).

Extensive experience in skeletal joint biology and arthritis research, and with histology and microscopy techniques relevant to the area of research.

We seek to appoint two positions as Lecturer, Senior Lecturer or Reader in Supply Chain Engineering Management. These posts are part of a wider talent and thought leader recruitment strategy. You will have extensive experience of delivering high quality teaching to undergraduate and postgraduate students including experience of developing and managing large teaching programmes and you will have experience of PhD/EngD research project supervision in Higher Education.

You will have an outstanding/sustained track record of published research in high quality publications demonstrating standards of excellence, with an international reputation. You will have an outstanding/substantial track record of securing research funding through relevant successful collaborative research grant applications and you will have an established national/international reputation as an expert and leader within Supply Chain Engineering Management. You will be an excellent educator and mentor and will show leadership in identifying key research questions and attracting funding support. We are looking for a proactive and motivated Research Bid Development Executive to join the University of Edinburgh’s new Strategic Proposals team. As such, they will have a vital contribution towards meeting the goals of the University’s ambitious Research and Innovation 2030 Strategy.

The Opportunity:

This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to support the embedding of the Strategic Proposals team, which is core to the University’s newly launched Research & Innovation 2030 Strategy.
