With an ever-expanding community of Stile schools in Australia, we’re looking for an experienced leader with a passion for improving scientific literacy around Australia to join the team in Melbourne. This role involves leading the team responsible for both selling Stile to new schools and maintaining relationships with existing schools.

We have a vision for more interesting, rigorous and inclusive science education for Australian students. Imagine a world where mundane tasks like lesson planning are taken care of, and teachers are offered plenty of support to be full-time classroom superheroes! Stile is Australia’s only complete, end-to-end program for Years 7-10 science. It offers meticulously crafted lesson-by-lesson teaching plans, printable revision resources, videos, questions, simulations and practical activities. It’s what we wish we had when we were teaching. Built upon our world-class teaching and learning platform, Stile is updated weekly with the latest in science and technology.

About the role
This leadership position will be responsible for growing our community of schools around Australia. Leading a team of five talented, experienced educators and sales team members, you will constantly look for ways to grow our impact in Australia, your success metrics will be sales and retention in Australia.
This position is perfect for someone with a passion for education and leadership experience who is looking to expand their impact and enhance the education of tens of thousands of students. It combines working from Stile HQ with visiting schools and team members around the country.
This is a sales leadership role, but it’s a sales leadership role like no other. It’s fun, light and centred around a genuine mission to better science education.
How you’ll spend your time
Our Schools team is the face of Stile and it will be your responsibility to lead them to achieve amazing results. This might be through finding efficiencies within existing processes, working with the marketing department to generate innovative sales campaigns, digging deep into data with the operations team to find solutions or working with our support team to understand how best to help Stile teachers. Overall, you’ll be driving the team to ensure we meet our sales and retention targets.
- Developing plans so all diocese and school leadership around the country know who Stile are and how we can help them.
With so many schools around the country already using Stile, you will be thinking of innovative ways to scale our impact. One of these ways will be through establishing and maintaining relationships at the diocese and school leadership levels. Deeply understanding the importance of High-Quality Instructional Materials will be critical to having these important conversations.

As Head of Schools you will be spearheading our efforts to bring teachers together to improve practice and create lasting connections.

- You’re excellent with systems, data and processes and you’re super organised!
- Sales experience, especially in the edu-industry, is a bonus but not essential, as is experience with Salesforce.

Hours and location
This is a full-time, permanent role based in our Melbourne office. When you’re not on the road, you will work from Stile HQ.
Work hours are flexible but generally follow a 9-5 schedule. Usually, school visits and PD sessions run before or after school or anywhere in between.
You’ll regularly be driving to schools, so you’ll need your own car (don’t worry, we cover your expenses). Semi-regular travel will be required around Australia to visit your team.
