Your new role

Within your new role, you will have the opportunity to travel across your specific region; Sunderland or Newcastle, delivering in-person training sessions across a wide range of areas. You will take the lead on delivering engaging and interactive sessions while collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure employees have the skills and knowledge to deliver the highest standard of service within the organisation. You will also get involved in project work too!

Responsibilities include:

• Facilitate interactive learning sessions
• Deliver training using a range of methods; virtual sessions, blended learning approaches and in-person workshops
• Provide one on one training and group coaching
• Conducting training needs analysis
• Identify any gaps in skills and knowledge across your region

What you'll need to succeed

• You must have experience working in an L&D environment and providing coaching / training for over 3 years.
• A highly creative L&D Professional
• Must have a driving licence and car to travel around the region
• Experience designing, engaging and creating learning programmes
• Able to deliver training individually or in group sessions
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage schedules and travel requirements
• Proficient in using learning management systems (LMS platforms) and E-learning platforms

Competitive Pay and Compensation

We pride ourselves on compensating and rewarding our tutors for their hard work. The starting rate ranges from $90 to $160 per 2-hour class (exc. Super) depending on the size of the classes you take. If you're already a veteran tutor, then apply for our senior tutor role and the rates can only get higher as you pick up more classes, show dedication to Contour, and contribute to the success of your students!

We've also introduced a new compensation model since 2024 where you'll also share part of the revenue generated by your classes. We want you to feel rewarded for introducing students to Contour and doing a great job at making them happy, so if Contour grows, you'll grow with it!

In some circumstances, if you already have private students but want to transfer them over to Contour, we can potentially even provide payouts so you can move all your tutoring work to us. Win-win!

Minimal Admin Work

There is almost no requirement for admin work. All you have to do is take simple attendance, manage student emails, and address student questions promptly outside of class via social media/text/email. Our support teams organise class days and times, following up on missed attendance, managing payments and enrolments, so you can just focus on the student and tutoring. However, If you’d like to create additional resources for us or do more non-tutoring work, we can also organise tailored payment plans to suit your needs :)

The NCRF Infrastructure sits within Newcastle University and encompasses the Clinical Research Facility (CRF) at our Royal Victoria Infirmary site, the Clinical Ageing Research Unit (CARU) at our CAV site, the Dental CRF in our Dental Hospital and the Pediatric CRF which is co-located within our RVI site. We operate mainly as an outpatient facility with patients usually attending between Monday and Friday although occasional evening and weekend working is required as studies dictate. The CRF specialises in early phase clinical trials as well as supporting complex later phase studies. We often support international trials and due to the nature of early phase research we are working with new and groundbreaking therapies, in specialty areas such as respiratory, rheumatology, mitochondrial research, and gene therapy. This role requires an individual with excellent organizational and communication skills, effective time management, basic IT skills, knowledge of data collection systems and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team. The successful candidate will work as an integral member of the CRF research delivery team to provide clinical care to study participants and their families who are participating in research.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced nurse who wishes to develop clinical research skills. The Role

• Teach an area of the curriculum to senior year levels;
• Maintain records of class attendance and recording student progress;
• Implement effective student management consistent with the school’s strategic plan;
• Attend and participate in staff meetings as required;
• Be actively involved in regular staff devotions and prayer.

About the role

Applications are sought from suitably qualified and experienced teachers with a passion for supporting students with diverse needs. This role is a part-time role (0.8FTE) providing small group initiatives for students with learning needs, working with teachers in supporting these students in their class, coming alongside the Learning Support team to ensure students are well supported and all appropriate administration is completed, and working with parents to develop partnership to help each student to find their success.

The position involves working with children. The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for identity, rights to work in Australia, and child protection in accordance with CEM policy.
