What you’ll be learning.
A Heavy Vehicle Service Technician will inspect, maintain, and repair large vehicles weighing 3.5 tonnes and over such as HGV's and buses.
• Servicing – carrying out inspections.
• Maintenance – general and preventative maintenance.
• Repairing – repairing/replacing parts.
• Diagnostics – diagnosing faults in the onboard systems.

You will gain a full understanding of the importance of 6-week checks, Operators (O) licence’s and legal obligations and as a technician apprentice, you will receive training to the manufacturer and DVSAs standard.

Training delivery.
In this programme, all aspects of heavy vehicle technology are embedded in this dedicated programme and involves a mix of academic learning and on-the-job training.
• Practical learning in the workplace, shadowing your mentor and carrying out the work while being supervised.
• Online studies, completing workbooks and job cards, attending online sessions and virtual classes with your Development Coach, all done during your working day.
• Attending block release to the Automotive Training Academy in Coventry every 2 months. All costs of your hotel food and accommodation plus all travel arrangements are covered by Euro Commercials

What you’ll achieve.
On successfully completing the Daimler Apprentice Programme, you will gain national qualifications recognised throughout the automotive industry:
• Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair Level 2
• Functional Skills level 1 in English & maths which is the equivalent of a GCSE 3/D (if required)Training to be Provided

Training is delivered in the workplace and on block release to Remit’s Automotive Academy in Coventry or Livingston. There are a total of 16 x 1 week blocks over the 32 month programme. The costs of hotel accommodation, food and travel are met by the employer and there will be no cost to you.

You will also receive 1-2-1 support from your Development Coach to help you achieve:
• NVQ in Heavy Vehicle Technician Level 2

Within the new NHS Wales Executive (the Executive), newly configured National Strategic Clinical Networks are a key component of the National Clinical Framework (NCF) model. Regional and Divisional Strategy

- Assist the Divisional Director to create a strategic plan for the geographic region, to ensure sustained growth and re-purposing of services where they may not be fit for purpose.

The team is led by Prof. Ann John and focuses on child and adolescent mental health and suicide and self-harm prevention. Prof. Ann John is chair of the National Advisory Group on suicide and self-harm prevention to Welsh Government, member of SAGE, Trustee of the Samaritans. She is also co-director of DATAMIND, Principle Investigator of the National Centre for Mental Health (NCMH), leads the Data Science theme in the Wolfson Centre for Young People’s Mental Health, focussing on reducing anxiety and depression in young people and also co-leads the Data and Digital theme of the Mental Health Mission that aims at enabling data and digital technologies to be used efficiently and consistently in the development and evaluation of new treatments for mental health disorders.


You will join Prof. John’s team and work with data resources such as the Secure Anonymised Information Linkage (SAIL) Databanks at Swansea University. SAIL is a research Centre of Excellence that brings together a breadth of multi-disciplinary partners through catalytic collaboration. It is a safe haven for billions of person-based records, spanning up to 20 years from the entire population of Wales, which enables researchers to answer important questions for the benefit of society.

The post-holder will have a background in clinical epidemiology and/or health data science and have enthusiasm and aptitude for working with mental health related data. Job Title: Primary School Supply Teacher

Location: Cardiff

Hours: Flexible days (08:30 - 15:30)

Pay: £157.66 per day

Teaching Personnel are currently looking to recruit Supply Teachers of all levels of experience to start as soon as possible!

W are looking to recruit Supply Teachers to keep up with the demand of supply that our schools need. We are looking to recruit enthusiastic, energetic, and skilled teachers to work flexibly across schools in Cardiff. As a supply teacher you will have full control of your diary made easy by having access to our Teaching Personnel app. This will allow you to input what days you're available and what days you're not which will allow you to maintain your healthy work-life balance. As a supply teacher you will be expected to work in a range of schools across Cardiff so the ability to drive is preferred but not essential so long as you're willing to travel to schools in other ways.

Necessary Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Enhanced Child Only DBS Certificate (can be sorted during application process)
- EWC registration (can be completed during application process)

Roles and Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver inclusive lessons for children of all abilities.
- Build and maintain relationships with children, parents, and staff of the school.
- Organise and mark the children's work.
- Create a safe and trusting environment for everyone in the class.
