What you’ll be doing…

- Completing FCI Training, learning to apply the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT).
- Learning, developing, training, and gaining experience in engineering and other key areas.
- Delivering training to up to 20 people at a time, as well as coaching and mentoring trainees when needed to support learning.

Who you are…

A relevant training qualification would be needed for this. You will have experience in deploying effective training methodologies (Systematic Approach to Training). Along with experience in training, learning and continual improvement processes. Do you have experience of promoting training across a large, complex major project organisation. Are you able to lead training projects and have knowledge of external training standards and procedures.

An understanding and experience of modern learning methods, as well as experience in utilising technology for training delivery. You will have the ability to multi-task and juggle different priorities, working well independently with the capability to influence.

- Has good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Has a thirst for learning and able to get to grips with fundamental Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) subjects.

• Good understanding of the key aspects of nuclear power plant systems and operation is desirable.

Role information:

• Developing and delivering training material.
• Delivering training in the classroom to expedite learning.
• Acting as course coordinator for responsible training areas. Leading and delivering training to groups from 1 up to 20 people, depending on the subject and environment.
• Acting as the subject matter expert for your area and demonstrating a deep understanding of the relevant company standards, becoming the company expert and representative in your areas.
• Ensuring company values, safety and operational experience are embedded throughout the training, training material and lesson plans.
• Maintaining relationships within our nuclear family, with differing technologies and Subject Matter Experts for development of material.
• Fully contributing to the business plan of the Nuclear Skills Alliance (NSA) and our nuclear family in support of achievement of our company organisational goals

Where will I be working? You will be working at one of our supported living services in Gloucester – GL2 or GL3. Our support teams in Gloucester support people 24 hours a day who are diagnosed with learning disabilities, Autism, and profound and multiple health needs. We create positive relationships with the people who are important to those we support ensuring a great circle of support network. We focus on supporting individuals to live full and active lives with a person-centred ethos tailoring our services to enable people to be as independent as possible. Working Patterns These are 24-hour support service; therefore, flexibility is essential. You will be working a range of times for example 7:00 am to 2:00/3:00 pm and 2:00/3:00 pm to 9:00/10:00 pm, working overnight providing sleep in or waking night support, flexible working includes weekend working patterns too. Please note that working hours may vary.
