SEND Teaching Assistant role to start ASAP in North West London

A friendly and diverse primary school in Harrow is looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team within Key Stage 2.

As a KS2 SEND Teaching Assistant, you will be:

• Supporting and working 1:1 with key children to reach the targets on their EHCPs
• Delivering intervention programmes both 1:1 and to small groups, monitoring and reviewing the children's progress
• Working closely with the class teachers
• Supporting children with SEND so that they can access the full curriculum
• Creating a safe and supportive learning environment where students can thrive personally, socially, emotionally and academically
• Helping to develop children's confidence and ensuring they feel valued within an inclusive learning environment
• Encouraging development of vocabulary through speech, reading and writing
• Working with children in Key Stage 2
• Able to work full-time: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:00pm

This SEND TA position is highly rewarding as you will leave each day knowing you're making a difference, and across the school year you will see the progress your key children make as this role is long term to last until the end of the academic year in July 2025.
