Role Overview:
As a Supply Teacher, you will deliver pre-planned lessons, manage the classroom, and provide a supportive, engaging learning environment for students. You’ll be adaptable to different school settings and year groups, helping to ensure continuity in the student learning experience during teacher absences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging, pre-planned lessons across various subjects and key stages.
• Manage classroom behaviour and ensure students stay on task.
• Support students with their learning and address any questions or challenges.
• Adhere to school policies, including those related to safeguarding and inclusion.
• Provide feedback to the regular classroom teacher, ensuring a smooth transition when they return.
About You:
• Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with eligibility to work in the UK.
• Experience: Experience teaching within UK primary or secondary schools (both is a bonus).
• Flexibility: Ability to adapt quickly to different school environments and handle a range of age groups and subjects.
• Reliability: Dependable and punctual, with excellent classroom management skills.
• Passion: A positive, enthusiastic attitude with a passion for supporting young learners.
• Commitment to Safeguarding: Dedication to promoting the welfare of children.
