The SIGINT Systems Engineer serves as an advisor to support the Government in defining new mission requirements, performing classic Systems Engineering sub-tasks such as Requirements, Configuration Management, Integration, Verification, Validation and Test (IVV&T), Risk and Readiness.  This position envisions representing the Government team and working with development contractors in performing all aspects of agile software development, CI/CD pipelines and deployment of mission software to operations. Specific responsibilities may include:

• Define SIGINT requirements

• Develop and coordinate CONOPS of SIGINT mission planning and scheduling systems

Senior Systems Engineer position supporting the Space Warfighting Analysis Center (SWAC) Enduring High Level Cell (EHLC) wargaming team. Requires both general systems engineering and program management skills, with an emphasis on modeling and simulation (M&S) and model-based system engineering (MBSE). Title:

KBR is looking for a Systems Engineer in Chantilly, VA to support an exciting opportunity within the NRO. The candidate will provide satellite systems technical engineering and programmatic support for all lifecycle phases for programs, to include studies, within a major US Government small satellite systems program office. The individual will support the government customer in the development and assessment of system trades, requirements and interfaces; design and development activities; integration and test activities; requirements verification; and future mission operations.

Responsibilities include:

• Assess the technical and programmatic development of Space Vehicle systems, subsystems, units, and CONOPs
• Support the COTR in programmatic and contractual decision-making for best value to the Government as well as manage post-award contract to include review of CDRLs for sufficiency and accuracy and generate ECPs

Role and Responsibilities:

• Provides systems and software engineering support with an emphasis on the engineering skills and knowledge required to assess, and analyze large, complex systems and their integration into future Army strategic or tactical systems.

• Provides software engineering support to PM IS&A for the full software life cycle of a product line.

This position supports the NAVAIR PMA-231 Advanced Hawkeye Command and Control platform office and will be based out of Patuxent River, MD.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Participates in meetings and collect, complete, organize, and interpret technical data.

• Provides engineering, technical, and managerial direction for problem definition, analysis, requirement development and implementation for complex systems in the engineering discipline required to meet technical requirements. Makes recommendations and advises on system development, improvements, optimization, or support efforts.

• Performs risk assessments and analysis employing modeling and simulation techniques.

Specific tasking will include but is not limited to:

• Technical planning, systems engineering support across PMA-231 fielded systems spanning initial fielding of developed warfighting capabilities, production, and sustainment activities. 

• Horizontal and vertical integration and management of work across all applicable engineering departments, disciplines and specialties including Air Vehicle, Propulsion and Power, Avionics, Human Systems, Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3), Interoperability and System Security Engineering.

• Safety and Airworthiness product support including Naval Air Training and Operating Procedures (NATOPS), Naval Aviation Technical Information Product (NATIP), Engineering Data Requirements Agreement Plans (EDRAPs) and associated flight clearances.
