An exciting opportunity has arisen forSenior Structural Engineer with 5 years of experienceto joina well-established engineering firm, delivering consultancy services across wide range of projects, including commercial, residential, art & bespoke structures.
In this role, you will be overseeing diverse projects from conception to completion, covering residential, commercial, public, educational, and temporary works design.
You will be responsible for:
- Develop conceptual and feasibility stage designs, providing comprehensive reports and DTM presentations.
- Evaluate contractor tender submissions, offering valuable suggestions to clients.
- Conduct regular site visits during structural construction stages for safety and design adherence.
- Cultivate strong client and architect relationships, actively participating in project proposals and fee reviews.
- Offer leadership and guidance to a team of professionals, including graduate engineers and technicians.
What we are looking for:
- Previously worked as a Structural Engineer or in a similar role.
- At least 5 years of experience in Structural Engineering.
- Experience in a UK / European practice with similar project profiles.
- Strong background in residential projects.
- Possess commercial and large-scale project experience.
- Degree in Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering.
- Skilled in AutoCAD, with experience in Eurocode.
- Possess conceptual design skills, including 3D expertise.
