• Directs agency experts from a broad range of scientific, engineering, and/or analytical fields to define, quantify, and evaluate the feasibility of OT&E projects, studies, or problems.
• Reviews and evaluates team projects, proposals, and/or reports for adequacy of methodology, including the use or development of computerized models, ensuring the techniques used are valid and appropriate to the problem or issue identified.
• Plans, organizes, and directs the various administrative projects on behalf of the Detachment Commander; ensuring that work complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs. Develops goals and objectives that integrate planning and integration objectives.
• Serves as a consultant and Air Force level technical expert to senior subject matter specialists and/or agency officials responsible for broad program operations.
• Attends meetings, conferences, briefings, and seminars related to program planning, advanced technologies, and support system concepts.

• Provides technical guidance, theoretical expertise, advisory support, and assistance on an entire project and/or major phases for broad and varied operations.
• Attends meetings, conferences, briefings, and seminars related to program planning, advanced technologies, and complex support system concepts.
• Accomplishes professional development and maintains technical proficiency through professional interaction with technical and professional societies, associations, academia, symposia, contractors, research and development (R&D) organizations, and participation in formal training programs.
