We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to work for a company in Carlisle
As Manufacturing Engineer, you support the manufacturing process and increase in on-time and accurate project deliverables. Working alongside Design Engineers & Production Planner, ensure product manufacturing consistency standards within BOMs, drawing revisions & Processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Drawing Transmittal – Purchasing assistance for suppliers and log
· Part Number creation – Materials & commercial parts / spare parts
· Decide make / buy routes for transferred parts
· ECO - process, release, transfer, update prod structure & shop orders (process capable)
· Technical Information (see above) – Standardise, update, log & issuing, technical files & CE / UKCA
· Machine Spares – create spares lists in IFS, information sharing
· Preparing drawing packs / barcoded labels
· Understanding of / ability to run PMRP
· PMRP Input – Inventory part transfer, product structure, VMI, shop order req. generation, shop order creation., etc
· Update barcoding system with project information
· Create & update routing templates
· Create & update routings for new parts
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:
· IFS PMRP Software, or similar business system Manufacturing support software e.g. SAP; MS access, Excel, Word
· Manufacturing, systems, or industrial engineering experience
· Machine building / engineering administration
· Project administration
· Engineering Development systems experience
· Quality assurance experience
· Manufacturing Planning
· Systematic and goal driven
· Ability to break tasks down to step-by-step actions and drive results no matter the obstacle
· Previous experience in a similar role
