We are currently seeking Licensed Aircraft Engineers (LAEs) with 3-5 years’ experience and holding a Cat B licence from CAAM / CAAC / EASA, to join our team. B1 or B2 LAEs with authorization in any the following aircraft types will be preferred*:

*For CAAM, 5 or more years of experience is required for conversion.

Conversion Programme

Successful applicants will undergo a 6-month Conversion Programme comprising:

Refresher training at the Training Academy, to prepare for Basic Paper exams required by the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) to convert to a Cat B CAAS License; and

• On-job-training to familiarise with the operating environment at the work site.

Upon successful conversion to a Cat B CAAS License, applicants will be deployed as a LAEs in the company and may look forward to a rewarding career with development opportunities, including aircraft type course(s).

As a Licensed Aircraft Engineer in the company, you will lead a maintenance team and be responsible for successfully carrying out maintenance tasks on an aircraft in accordance with OEM procedures, manual and authority regulations.

You will be operating under Part 145 approval to certify airworthiness of aircraft and its components.

• Perform commissioning of a system, whether it be naval, terrestrial, or underwater. Commissioning includes potential installation, startup, configuration, and integration with other systems;
• participate in live-fire tests;
• conduct tests, including in the presence of the customer;
• perform operational system surveys;
• perform preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and mid-term overhauls;
• participate in general revision activities;
• conduct troubleshooting activities at both the first level (sub-assembly level) and the detailed level (spare parts level);
• compile reports on activities performed, adhering to company documentation that dictates the rules for report compilation;
• assist Program Managers and other managerial personnel during technical meetings with clients;
• assist the Logistics Engineering staff in preparing spare parts lists and estimated intervention durations;
• support the training center in delivering courses;
• collaborate with the "Field Returns" organizational unit to implement the reference database.

Requirements

• Able to perform the following:

- Mechanical drawing interpretation

- Electrical drawing interpretation

- Basic proficiency in using electronic and mechanical instrumentation

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) English proficiency level A2 Ability to work in a team
• Diploma from a technical mechanical institute / Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics - Mechanical Engineering.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Maintenance Program (AMS) based on analysis of OEM Maintenance Planning Document (MPD) and operators’ reliability recommendations.
• Supports the coordination of maintenance-related certification requirements (e.g. Extended Operations (ETOPS), Certification Maintenance Requirements (CMR), Airworthiness Limitations (AWL) etc.) across engineering groups, operator, and regulators to maintain product type certification and sustaining operations.
• Review and implement quarterly MPD updates.
• Create and amend maintenance job cards.
• Coordinate operator's program requirements on a continuous basis, including management of maintenance program optimization.
• Provide resource management for areas of responsibilities.
• Applies regulatory and industry standards to ensure safety and support efficient operations.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of MRO-related experience, with a working knowledge and understanding of commercial airline maintenance programming functions.
• Prior experience in this role with a focus on operations with an approved CAAS AOC holder, and should possess an advanced understanding of OEM maintenance program methodologies and common practices.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to organize, prioritize and structure tasks/information would be essential for this role.
• Required to make decisions to achieve and support the Company’s goals, and be able to work in a multi-disciplined team environment.
• Advanced working knowledge of MS Office Applications and SAP would be advantageous.
