The Role – Senior Systems Engineer
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a prestigious aerospace engineering organisation as a Senior Systems Engineer.
You’ll be a pivotal member of the team, developing and implementing engineering solutions to meet programme requirements throughout the development lifecycle.
Due to the nature of the position a background in aviation, aerospace or complex mechanical engineering would be highly advantageous.
Duties – Systems Engineer
• Capture and define requirements.
• Develop and implement systems engineering solutions, including detailed design, modelling, performance optimization, and technical reviews.
• Plan and document system verification processes including:
• Simulations
• Analyses
• System, Unit and Component tests.
• Integration and Regression tests.
• Stress, Acceptance and Qualification tests.
• Flight tests.
• Follow robust configuration control, review, and change management processes.
• Assist in preparing plans, estimates, task lists, and risk management plans.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders throughout the development process.
• Perform internal project activities and coordinate with external subcontractors.
• Contribute to continual process improvement.
• Undertake any other engineering-related tasks as necessary.
