Junior Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer - Sussex, Kent, and Surrey - £30,000

It is an exciting role to join a Leading National Maintenance Service provider looking to expand its operation and bring in a junior Air Conditioning and refrigeration engineer to supply this service on a mixed commercial contract covering sites in the Sussex, Kent, and Surrey areas.

This role would be perfect for someone who has recently gained qualifications or has little experience in Commercial Air Conditioning.

You will be joining their current Mobile maintenance team carrying out Service and Breakdowns on Air conditioning, HVAC and refrigeration plant.

You will be responsible for all commercial Air conditioning maintenance as well as general building services across the Sussex, Kent, and Surrey areas.

Hours of Work

Monday - Friday 08:00 am -17:00 pm.

Requirements

- NVQ Level 2 Refrigeration & Air conditioning (Minimum)
- NVQ Level 3 Refrigeration & Air conditioning (Desirable)
- Fgas 2079 Cat 1 (Essential)
- Experience within a Maintenance / Facilities Management environment.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety, permit-to-work procedures and safe systems of working.
- Capability to perform manual tasks, including manual handling, working at heights and in confined spaces
- On-Call Rota.
- Good verbal and written communication is important, including the ability to use a mobile device.
- Self motivated and solutions-focused with the ability to work without supervision but also enjoy working as part of a team.
- Full Drivers License
- Enhanced DBS check

Responsibilities

- PPM & Reactive maintenance
- Air conditioning and refrigeration - Service/maintenance
- Your main duties will be service and maintenance on split systems, VRV's, VAV's and VRF's, AHU's, FCU's, Chillers and all HVAC and refrigeration plant.
- Electrical Knowledge would be beneficial.
- Extensive building services knowledge
